"What?!" the girls gasped in unison.
Watanabe Mayu's eyes widened in disbelief. "I've watched Lucy 1 and 2! They're huge worldwide blockbusters!"
"Yeah, I've seen them too. Are we really going to be in it?" Kashiwagi Yuki was ecstatic.
"No way," Oshima Yuko said skeptically. "We'll probably just be background extras—like standing by the roadside or something."
But Yasushi Akimoto anticipated their doubts and clarified, "I haven't finished yet. You won't just be silent background characters. In the film, you will be performing a grand concert at the Tokyo Dome, appearing as AKB48. You will be singing in the movie. What do you think?"
The girls couldn't contain their excitement and clenched their hands into tiny fists against their chests.
"Is this real? Am I actually going to perform at the Tokyo Dome?"
"Yuki, am I dreaming? Are we really having a concert at the Tokyo Dome?"
