Chapter 310 - Chapter 310: The First Hokage Calls Out the Third, and the Third’s Reputation Falls Apart

White Zetsu's transformation jutsu was strong. By extracting some of the target's chakra, he could even gain part of their memories. But he couldn't hide his malice, so it was useless against Naruto.

White Zetsu's transformation jutsu was almost unbeatable. Most sensory techniques in the ninja world couldn't see through it—not Sage Mode, Byakugan, Sharingan, or even the Rinnegan.

But he couldn't copy Six Paths power.

So, when he tried to impersonate someone who had it, he stood out immediately.

Sasuke couldn't sense good or evil, but he could sense the power of the Six Paths. And more importantly—fine, maybe Naruto himself doesn't have the Six Paths' power anymore, but where did the Tailed Beast inside him go?

Use your brain a little, would you?

Sasuke felt like Obito was treating him like an idiot.

To be honest, Obito's eye twitched nonstop. He hadn't forgotten that Naruto had the Six Paths' power, but White Zetsu... well, their brains were never great to begin with. Of all the people they could transform into, why the hell did they pick Uzumaki Naruto?! Even turning into Haruno Sakura would've been a better choice!

"Sasuke!" Sakura stood in the distance, looking at them with shock. "Was that Naruto just now?"

Sasuke: "..."

Obito: "..."

They wanted to say something but stopped, then tried again but stopped once more. Their minds scrambled for the right words, but they forgot what they were even trying to say.

Seeing the hesitant look on Sasuke's face, a vein bulged on Obito's forehead. He gritted his teeth and glared at Sakura. "Zetsu! You idiots!"

Are you just handing Sasuke free experience points?! Can you use your brains for once?!

Oh, right. White Zetsu doesn't have a brain.

Never mind, then.

Wait, no—this is a big deal! White Zetsu might be brainless, but does Black Zetsu not have a brain either?! Couldn't you at least think before transforming?!

Obito was about to explode from frustration. Were they here to save him or to put on a comedy act?!

Sasuke looked at Obito with a strange expression. After a moment of thought, he kindly explained, "Honestly, you look pretty ridiculous right now. But since you seem so mad, I almost feel bad. So let me be nice and explain—this Sakura you're looking at is the real one."

Obito: "..."

Yeah, there was no mistaking it. That glaringly obvious Six Paths' power was impossible to fake. Even if someone transformed, the real Naruto would be the only one capable of that.

As Sasuke finished speaking, a massive toad suddenly dropped from the sky, landing beside him. Three figures leaped down from its back and stood next to Sakura.

Kakashi, Asuma, and Kurenai.

Sasuke turned his head to look at them, finally resting his gaze on Sakura. "Sakura, my Six Paths Yin Power doesn't have healing abilities. I can barely keep this woman alive. I'll leave the rest to you."

"No problem." Sakura quickly crouched beside Konan.

As her hair shifted to a pinkish-orange hue, the immense power of Sage Mode transformed into a soft green glow, spreading over Konan's body.

Sakura let out a small sigh of relief. "Good. The wound is just a clean stab through the stomach, no damage to vital organs. She's only unconscious because she lost too much chakra and blood. Once her wound heals, she just needs some rest."

Konan's Paper Angel Technique ignored physical attacks, so she hadn't been hurt in the battle at Konohagakure. She only got injured after her chakra ran out, making her technique useless—giving Obito the chance to strike.

Seeing this, everyone quietly let out a breath of relief.

Asuma and Kurenai stepped in front of Sakura, while Kakashi stood side by side with Sasuke. "Let's go over the situation quickly."

Sasuke turned to Kakashi. In his eyes, he saw something—trembling, and a flicker of emotion that was hard to define. Was it grief? Or relief? Even Kakashi's voice was raspier than usual.

And yet, despite all that, the first thing he cared about was the mission. Not his old friend.

"You really haven't changed, Kakashi," Obito's mocking voice came from a distance, carrying a hard-to-hide fury. "Still caring about nothing but the mission."

Kakashi suddenly clenched his fist. "It really is you… Obito."

He had considered the possibility that it wasn't Obito… As long as he wasn't completely sure, there was still a chance he was wrong.

"Why… would you do something like this? You're not… that kind of person…" Kakashi's voice was weak. Right now, what was keeping him standing in front of Obito wasn't chakra or strength—it was the need for answers.

"I don't need to answer that." Obito refused to respond.

Kakashi's fist tightened as if he wanted to shout in anger, but when he opened his mouth, no words came out.

What… was he supposed to say?

Sasuke was silent for a moment before sighing and speaking slowly. "Kakashi, let's be clear. No matter how close you were to this guy, he's one of the people responsible for wiping out the Uchiha clan. If I get the chance, I will kill him."

Kakashi froze.

Behind him, Sakura let out a soft sigh but smiled gently.

Asuma exhaled a puff of smoke, watching Sasuke's back with a smile. "What a kind kid."

Kurenai also chuckled and nodded. "He's saying this because he's worried Kakashi won't be able to do it himself. But since it's Sasuke, he won't say it outright—he'll go around in circles instead. Shikamaru's description was spot on."

In other words—tsundere.

Sasuke's face darkened. Shikamaru, huh? I'll remember this.

Just as Sasuke was about to argue back, his expression suddenly changed slightly. At the same time, Sakura furrowed her brows, and the two of them instinctively turned to look… ahead of Obito.

At that moment, five coffins suddenly rose vertically from the ground. As a strange, eerie laugh echoed through the air, the coffins opened almost simultaneously, and their lids fell to the ground, revealing five damaged faces.

Everyone immediately went on guard. Except for Sakura, the others all drew their weapons—Obito even tensed up instinctively.

The moment they saw who it was, Kakashi, Asuma, and Kurenai's pupils shrank. Asuma's cigarette slipped from his mouth, falling to the ground as he gasped in shock.

"The First Hokage? The Second Hokage? And… my old man?"

And the last two were…

"Uchiha Madara?" Kurenai swallowed hard.

"Mito-sama!" Kakashi's voice trembled.

As the coffins vanished, a chilling voice rang out once again. "It's been a while, Sasuke-kun~"

The speaker was the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen. But something was off. The voice didn't quite sound like his, and the cold expression, the sinister laughter, and the strange tone…

"Orochimaru." Sasuke let out a cold laugh. "Yeah, it has been a while."

That's right—it was Orochimaru, wearing his former teacher's face.

Orochimaru grinned. "The last time we met was during the Chunin Exams years ago. I really thought you'd choose my side back then. What a shame… I lost such a good vessel."

"But in the end, it worked out. I found something even more interesting~" Orochimaru licked his lips with his tongue.

Sasuke's face twisted in disgust. "I'm begging you—just talk normally and stop sticking your tongue out. It was creepy enough when you did it in your own body, but using the Third Hokage's face to do it makes it even worse."

To be fair, Orochimaru doing it himself was already unsettling, but at least it carried a certain sense of menace—like being watched by a venomous snake.

But now, seeing Sarutobi Hiruzen's face doing the same action… Sasuke didn't feel threatened, just deeply uncomfortable.

Orochimaru froze for a second, his tongue halfway out, and suddenly found himself unable to continue. Because… now that Sasuke had pointed it out, even he couldn't unsee it.

Sarutobi Hiruzen… licking his lips…

Orochimaru quickly retracted his tongue. No matter what, this was still his former teacher—he should at least show a little respect.

Just as he was about to say something, Hashirama suddenly burst into laughter. "Kid, I agree with you. Seeing Monkey do that is seriously disturbing."

Orochimaru: "…"

Sorry, old man, but this isn't my fault. If you want to blame someone, blame Sasuke.
