Each impact unleashed bursts of corrupted blood that hissed upon contact with the air, dissolving into noxious smoke as the great demon shrieked in agony. Despite the devastation wrought, the Sword Saint frowned in dissatisfaction. His movements were too slow, too imprecise for his liking.
Still, the attacks were effective.
Abomination roared, its voice a cacophony of hate and despair that trembled across the battlefield, shaking the fractured cliffs beneath their feet. Slabs of mutated, blackened flesh sloughed off the creature's body, splattering onto the ruined earth below and spreading their vile corruption across an already cursed land.
