"Why are you lookin' scared now?" Gray grinned in his massive ape form, staring down at Suiryu, who was staring up at him with eyes as wide as saucers.
Around him, Gray's squad was also transforming as the martial artist monsters watched with varying levels of fear and horror. Gray's squad had already been winning the overall fight, and that fight was about to become a brutal beatdown.
"Shut up," Suiryu just bit out, taking a step back as Gray's huge body cast a shadow over him, "Y-You were already a monster?"
"No, but close enough," Gray just smirked lightly, "Try to keep up, alright?"
This transformation really is overpowered. I'm understanding why Frieza is so scared of Saiyans now!
It was one thing for the tyrant to be scared of a 'Super Saiyan' - something he didn't even know existed, and that was only spoken about in legends - but the Ozaru transformation was something much more concrete to fear.
I don't even need to be as strong as Frieza - I just need to be at least 12 times weaker!
Gray shot forward, moving deceptively quickly for his large form and slamming a massive fist into Suiryu.

The man didn't react in time, obviously caught off guard that Gray was still moving so fast despite being a giant ape, and was sent tumbling backward.
One punch did more than my attack boosted Ki-blasts did!
Suiryu recovered quickly, tensing as he lunged forward at Gray. He leaped into the air, pulling his arm back and rocketing it toward Gray's hairy ape gut.
"[Void Shaking Tiger Fis-]" Suiryu's fist started to rotate in the air, pulling air around him as it looked as if a tornado was swirling around his arm. However, before it could connect, Gray's Ki-coated hand easily slapped him out of the air.

Gray's palm slapped Suiryu out of the air and down towards the ground, causing the man's body to rocket down with such a force that Suiryu couldn't hope to recover. His body slammed into the ground below, causing rocks and dirt to fly upward as a crater appeared around him and blood flew from his mouth.
Suiryu didn't have any time to recover as Gray's foot came stomping down, pressing down on Suiryu's body and expanding the crater as there was a crunching noise so loud that Gray could hear it even as his large head was dozens of feet in the air.

Damn, that sounds like it hurt.
"Finished already?" Gray grinned as he lifted his foot, taking in the bruised body underneath it.
Suiryu was clearly not dead, but he was starting to look closer to it with every blow. There was a stream of blood flowing down his face, his body was covered in bruises, he was breathing heavily, and his arm was bent at an unnatural angle from being crushed under Gray's large foot.
He won't last much longer.
Gray was somewhat disappointed that his strongest opponent in a while was going out so pathetically, but-
That's the power of the Ozaru.
Gray wasn't sure if he'd encounter anyone on the entire S-Class mission who could compete with him in this form.
If we just keep timing our assaults with the moons, then I might not even need to use my points on the mission.
The lack of danger and excitmenet that came with transforming was a bit disappointing, but Gray's mind knew that it was always the right thing to do. His squad would be much safer this way, and he wouldn't be at risk of death - even if it was boring.
"[Void Ascending Phoenix Fist!]" Luckily for Gray's desire for a fight, Suiryu wasn't done quite yet. He came launching up from the crater, his fist rotating again as another tornado-like stream surrounded his bloody arm.
"Good!" Gray grinned as the man didn't give up easily, matching Suiryu's fiery eyes with an excited stare of his own.
But it's time for him to realize just how big the gap is now.
Suiryu couldn't see Gray's power level, and likely couldn't even sense his energy, so Gray would have to show him personally that he didn't stand a chance anymore.
Gray cocked back his own arm, stepping forward as his Ki-coated fist blitzed towards Suiryu's. His fist shot forward much quicker than Suiryu's, meeting the man in the middle instantly as his massive knuckles connected with Suiryu's smaller ones.
Gray would've liked to pretend that it was close - that their fists stalled out for a moment, locking in a battle of power as they both put everything they had into the attack. But, in reality, Suiryu was blown back effortlessly. His arm crumpled under Gray's stronger attack, jerking back and bending unnaturally as Gray's fist slammed into his body.

Suiryu was flung back into the crater below him, the crater expanding even more as Gray's fist smushed him into the floor. More blood flew from his mouth, and his arm lay limp at his side as Gray pulled his fist back - looking clearly broken as he lay in the crater.
"You did well," Gray hummed, pulling back his fist as he got ready to try and convince Suiryu.
I get both a perk and a skill token from the gathering allies quest for every ally over 10 billion, and he would count for that.
Taking in someone stronger than his base form was a bit of a risk, but Gray was confident he could use his points and put the man down if he tried anything.
It would be a shame to have to kill him here. It's not like I'll come across that many people who fit the requirements.
If even King Vegeta was only nearing 30 billion in power level, Gray didn't think he'd suddenly start coming across a lot of people exceeding 10 billion. The coins and XP he'd get from killing Suiryu would be nice, but the perk and skill tokens were more valuable in the long run.
Plus, this was a good-ass fight before I transformed.
Gray silently reprimanded himself as he suddenly knew how Goku felt when he spared Vegeta on Earth.
"It'd be a waste to kill-" Gray started, but blinked in surprise as Suiryu shakily pushed himself back to his feet. His breathing was uneven, and his arm was limp by his side, but his body was tense as he looked at Gray with shadows covering his eyes.
Hah, this guy won't stand down. I'm starting to like him-
"Run!" Gray blinked as Suiryu looked up, his expression looking much different from what Gray had expected. Instead of determined, fiery eyes, he was looking at a shaken and fearful expression.
"RUN!" Suiryu shouted louder in Gouketsu's direction, though the man was already lying limp on the ground as an ape-Caulfila towered over his body. Despite originally evolving out of having a tail in Universe 6, Gray was glad to see that this Caulifla was able to control her Ozaru form.
A rampaging Ozaru-Caulifla sounds like hell to deal with.
Gray turned his attention back to Suiryu, who was leaping desperately into the air as he tried to escape the arena.
"Run… run… run… run!" The martial artist muttered repeatedly, and Gray's excitement died instantly.
He seemed pretty cool, but he's just a coward?
"'I know you're weak because I am strong,'" Gray sighed, mocking the man lightly as he disappeared and reappeared in front of the fleeing man faster than he could react. "Seriously, why even act tough if you're really just a bitch?"
Gray's Saiyan pride was disappointed in the man as his hand slapped down the top of Suiryu's body, sending the man plummeting back down into the arena below.

Another crater formed on the edge of the stadium from Suiryu's body, and the man shakily pushed himself back onto his knees. He glanced over his shoulder, his eyes wide and fearful as he stared at Gray.
"P-Please, just let me go!" He stuttered out, and Gray just grew even more disappointed.
Do I even want a guy like this as my ally?
For a guy who spoke about 'the strong surviving' and looked down on others for being untalented, Suiryu was looking pretty pathetic right now.
"I don't know," Gray said bluntly, his hand lashing down and wrapping around Suiryu's entire body easily. He lifted up the man to his face, staring into the man's eyes quizzically, "It would've been better if you fought until the end, y'know?"
"I-I don't want to die!" Suiryu spat out again, looking down around Gray's large hand at the ground below them, "G-Gouketsu! C-Choze! Someone help me!"
"They can't even help themselves," Gray said dryly, pausing as he thought about what he should do with the man.
On one hand, having such a pussy as a subordinate is a risk. If we're up against someone strong, he'll probably just run away. But, on the other hand…
Gray decided this was a good time to instill some loyalty in the man - to ensure he wouldn't cause any problems in the future.
"It'd be annoying if I let you live and you went against me later…" Gray started, smirking as he started to squeeze Suiryu's body lightly.

"I-I wouldn't! I won't! J-Just give me a chance!" Suiryu started pleading, looking at Gray with wide, fearful eyes, "P-Please!"
"I guess I could…" Gray started, faking as if he was thinking deeply about it as he waited for a notification to appear. It did a second later.

When you're begging for your life, it's only right that you acknowledge the man who could end it at any moment, right?
"But," Gray leaned forward, his eyes boring into Suiryu's as he grinned widely, "It'd be so easy to kill you."
He squeezed his hand a bit again, and Suiryu let out a hiss of pain.

"D-Don't!" He breathed out, still looking pleadingly at Gray, "I-I'll do anything! I don't want to die! I don't want to die!"
Let him sweat a bit.
Gray paused for a moment, looking like he was considering it again as Suiryu waited with bated breath.
"Alright, but I don't like keeping weak cowards around," Gray opened his palm, roughly releasing Suiryu and letting the man fall to the ground with a grunt, "So, you'll need to prove yourself."
That's a lie - my whole squad is full of weak people. Literally everyone is weaker than him, but I need him to feel like he needs to prove himself to me.

"O-Of course! T-Thank you!" Suiryu breathed out, looking relieved as the fear in his eyes faded a bit.
"From now on," Gray crouched down, casting another shadow over Suiryu as he stared down at the man with a large grin, "You'll do whatever I say, alright?"
Suiryu opened his mouth to hurriedly agree, but he was interrupted as a new voice shouted into the arena.
"Damn, you guys move fast!"
Gray blinked, glancing up as the form of a hero he had seen briefly on Harro came launching over the walls of the arena.
What's he doing here?
"Atomic Samurai?" Bang was apparently thinking the same thing, muttering in surprise as Atomic Samurai, also know by his stange name of 'Kamikaze,' was suddenly on Mam and not Harro. The elderly man stepped away from the monster lying in front of him, who looked beaten but not dead.
"I left the same day you guys did, but I didn't think you'd be this far already," Kamikaze muttered, likely having taken longer because of the Hero Association's inferior space ships. "It's a good thing I reached you guys before you left. I have an urgent message from the Hero Association."
"An urgent message?" Gray asked, and the hero looked at him strangely - probably because he was a giant ape now - before looking away and speaking to Bang again instead.
"After you're finished cleaning up here," Kamikaze gestured to all the defeated monsters lazily, "Head straight to Monas."
"S-Straight to Monas?" Fubuki entered the conversation, floating down from her position providing support in the air, "Why?"
"Tornado of Terror contacted the Hero Association again," Kamikaze continued, causing Fubuki's eyes to widen at the mention of her sister. "She, along with Demon Cyborg and a few others, has already cleared out all the other planets over the past two days. All that remains is Monas."
What the fuck? They cleared the other three planets in the time we cleared these two?
Gray thought he was making quick work of the quest with his squad's Ozaru, but the group of heroes was moving even quicker than he was?
Gray's lips twitched upwards lightly.
Then, they must be fuckin' strong, right?
Gray had no idea just how right he was.
