"What is your condition?" Daisy asked. Her smart mind had already guessed what Poppi's condition was.
"I want a particular building plan design to be ready and brought to the Balfour Industries by six o'clock in the morning—no later. If you can do that, then the Balfour Industries will hire you, and the position of the Head of Designs and Contracts will be given to you," Poppi said, making Daisy's lips curl into a dazzling smile.
"Sure. Just remember to keep your word, Poppi. Or else, trust me, you will suffer the consequences," Daisy said as she eyed Poppi one last time and walked away. She still felt Poppi's burning gaze behind her, but she did not bother to look back until she stepped inside the elevator. She watched the door close slowly, and Poppi's dark eyes lingered on her until they disappeared from view.
"You are late," a voice said, stopping her in her tracks the moment she stepped into her office.
