"What do you mean, you don't know?!" Kazuki Kurogane aggressively shakes the brown haired boy. "It's not that hard! This is why I hate people who get in off a recommendation, you're always so stupid and weak."
Hikaru stares at him blankly, his dead eyes boring into his. "Okay...?" He mumbles. "I don't... really care." Kazuki groans. "Of course you don't, why did I ask? Great, we got an apathetic freak, Kage won't talk, and the hottie hates me! Of course my life is going absolutely great right now!"
"I don't hate you..." Kasume explains. "I just... utterly despise you with all of my being...?" Kazuki facepalms. "Why did I ask.."
"If I may..." The ever polite Kage requests. "The room is around here... ah. 200... 201... 203?" Kazuki is crashing out at this point. "There's no 202? Of course the room isn't here."
"You smart alecks love overthinking stuff..." Kasume yawns, scratching her stomach. "It's not that complicated. Punch the walls in between the door." Kazuki snorts. "Yeah, like that'd work-" Without even letting him finish, Kasume punches the wall. It cracks and a keypad is revealed behind it. "Kage? You memorized the access code?
Kage nods, and says into the scanner, "8... 1... 1... 9... 4..." The keypad beeps and the door opens. Kasume punches Kazuki playfully in the arm. "You we're saying, albino?" She pushes past him into the door. Tamaki is already waiting.
"Ah, welcome, test subjects- I mean students, heheh..." The older blonde boy quickly corrects himself. "We have... a special task for your first day of training." Hikaru replies dryly, "What is it? Get to the point..." Tamaki smirks slyly. "As you wish... as you don't know, the purpose of assigning you in groups based on mental strength was simply for the purpose of exploiting your one weakness... physical strength. Kage." He calls to the raven haired boy. "Solve the quadratic formula."
"Gladly." Kage thinks for a moment, before reciting, "There is no specific quadratic formula. However, a general quadratic equation is an equation with a variable to the second power as its highest power term." Tamaki smiles. "Very good, young sir... now... punch Mr. Kurogane."
Kage hesitates, before throwing a small punch. it does nothing. Kasume holds in a laugh. "Wow... that was the weakest punch I've ever seen."
Tamaki sighs. "Well... Ms. Chisi, you seem to have a special case; your intellect and strength are on the same level."
