Kyrell led Sienna out of the basement and took her to her office directly. All along, his right hand was behind his back while he hugged her shoulder with his left hand.
Holding her close, he observed Sienna, who looked sickly pale. Regret and worry flashed in his mind, and he reprimanded himself for his inconsiderate actions.
Sienna had seen a lot of bloodshed in just a few days. The mere sight of blood reminded her of her trauma and made her sick.
Instead of protecting her and shielding her from the trauma, what did he do? He only made it worse.
Blinded by his fury, he hadn't considered her state of mind. Sienna was fragile. Any sight of blood or gore could trigger her, and he had only pushed her towards it without mercy.
Kyrell was disgusted with himself.
