Chapter 10 - The book

Ola brings Cila to a halt once there on the path again inside the forest. There away from the shed now. "So, what was that about, you destroyed the skeleton and you used magic", Ola says with curiosity.

His voice sounds a bit strict but he's just curious and being protective.

Cila Looks at Ola then looks down at the book in her hand. "I don't know how to explain it, when I opened the book, I said something but this ghost appeared. Cila says which totally Confuses Ola.

Ola looks at Cila with a serious expression, clearly this is a big thing that has happened to her.

"A ghost. What do you mean.", Ola says hoping she can explain to him because he is lost and doesn't understand.

Cila herself doesn't know how to exactly explain it. "I don't think really know, a ghost appeared claiming to be Alex, The creator of this book and the skeleton than we saw it the shed. He told me he put his soul into this book prior to his death and All the spells in the book are what he created himself". Cila says to Ola, Explaining what she knows.

It sounds very surreal, Even she doesn't believe what just happened but when she acticsted that water magic spell, she can't say ut wasn't real.

"He told me, Because I have no magic I am a perfect fit and a vessel for the book. Meaning I csn use all the spell inside it. That's why I destroyed his Skeleton, because he told me too". Cila says with a puzzled expression.

Ola sighs and gives Cila a hug of comfort. Clearly this is much for her to take in and understand. Ola knows that feeling well, especially since he is still learning this new world after being accidently being preserved in ice for Two Thousand Years.

She calms down a bit when Ola pulls back from the hug. They start walking down the forest path again. Hoping they will soon find an exit out if it.

An hour passes of constant walking. Still no end in sight. "This is taking forever", Cila says with a groaning voice. A glistening shine brights up the path ahead through the leaves from the trees above.

As the light gets more bright, an opening appeared ahead."finally", Ola groaned. They both keep walking until a Large lake is in clear view.

The sun shining bright of the flickers of the water. Beautiful scenery filled with greenery and leaves. Despite everything they have currently seen in this world, This lake gives them both peace and makes them feel that there might still be hope left in this world. They haven't seem all of the world yet.

Ola and Cila stop at the exit of the forest and take in the view ahead. " Wow, who knew this world still had such a beautiful place", Cila speaks out followed by a not from Ola.

They are both bewildered but are very happy. Ola sees a oak log near the lake water and walks over to it. He gestured over to Cila and they both take a seat and sit in silence as they breathe in the fresh air and listen to the wind blow the leaves and grass.

After a few minutes, They both to be at ease now and have thought about everything that has happened. From when they first met as Ola saved her and the group of humans from being burned alive by them controlled magic robots. To when Cila found out Ola was actually the guy from the books she was taught about and read that painted Ola as a bad guy. All the way to when she was kidnapped and Ola travelled far to find her and fought Septh, The rank nine leader of the world which almost caused Ola to die. Then Ola actually gave her a name 'Cila' which is named as a memory of Fila, 'Ola's late mother', And when they stumbled across that wooded hut that had a old skeleton inside holding a magical book that has chosen Cila as its new Owner Because the soul of the Skeleton is actually inside of the book. They are both still getting used to understanding that part. But despite all that, here they are now, sitting together on this log, Looking at thus beautiful lake and scenery.

"Thank you", Cila suddenly speaks out quietly. "I'm serious, Thank you, Ola, For saving me, For giving me a name, And showing me what it's like to be cared for and what it is like to have a Big Bro". She says with truth and much meaning behind her words.

Ola continues to look at the Lake but his ears are open and he hears her words.

"I'm glad, But no need to thank me,Cila, I was just passing by when i was in that city, but I'm glad I did, because we wouldn't be here at this moment". Ola says with a smile.

They both look at the Lake, Both smiling and feeling a sense of security.
