"Guess I was wrong; the kid is smarter than he looks."
Mason commented, watching as Alexander convinced the city officials. While it was mostly because the officials had an earlier hint on the matter, it was easier for Alex's words to convince them.
"Mm."
Zol nodded in agreement. He hadn't known the kid for long, but the surprises he gave him always held his curiosity.
While most of the other students were attempting to do everything on their own with the power they possessed, Alex had already seen through the essence and was already making progress.
'He'll be a fine hunter.'
Just having strength, mana and fighting prowess wasn't enough to become a good hunter. They also had to understand that not all matters could be solved with force, especially when put in a leadership position.
Words could equally be as powerful, though only in the human setting. Void creatures and the other dangers of the universe don't apply, but hunters don't just deal with void creatures.
