Arwen wasn't in a bad mood, but even after thinking about it again and again, she failed to understand why she always ended up getting teased.
It was clearly her ploy. She meant to tease him and make him willingly agree to let her go for a few hours, and she clearly felt the charge was in her hands.
But then, all of a sudden, the whole situation turned around, and she ended up falling back into his trap of teasing.
"No, not every time," she huffed to herself. "I can't let him win every single time."
"Madam, is there anything wrong?" Alfred who didn't understand it at all, couldn't help but ask, looking at her in confusion through the mirror.
Arwen hadn't realized she had spoken out loud until she heard Alfred ask. Scratching the corner of her brow, she gave a small, awkward smile and then shook her head. "It's nothing. I was just thinking about … work."
