After attending classes on Monday and Tuesday, students would face their final exams, and afterward, the long-awaited summer vacation would finally begin.
July 25th—the last weekend before summer break.
Chisato woke up early in the morning. He wanted to get out of bed, but Kazusa was curled up in his arms, tightly wrapping her arms around his waist and refusing to let go no matter what.
After spending some effort trying to persuade her to let go and failing, Chisato resorted to his usual method, forcing her to release him.
She ended up completely drained, unable to muster the strength to cling to him any longer.
Ever since that night after the fireworks festival, when they crossed that line, Kazusa had been clinging to him excessively.
She practically refused to be apart from him for even a moment.
Chisato believed she was trying to make the most of the little time she had left before leaving the country, creating as many memorable moments with him as possible.
That was understandable. Chisato himself didn't mind.
With his exceptional physical strength and the indescribable advantages granted by the system, satisfying Kazusa one-on-one was almost too easy.
However, for Kazusa, the situation was a bit more problematic. Judging by her exhaustion last night, she had been skipping school every few days.
Since she had already decided to end her high school career after this semester and didn't care about advancing her education, attendance meant little to her.
Additionally, because she spent most of her time glued to Chisato, she had significantly reduced her piano practice.
According to her, with Chisato around, it was impossible to focus on anything else.
In any case, after letting go of all restraint toward her boyfriend, Kazusa seemed to have awakened some rather troublesome tendencies.
Outwardly, she still appeared as cold and indifferent as ever, but in private, she burned so intensely that Chisato felt as though she might melt him.
That might sound abstract, but listing the places where they had engaged in unspeakable acts over the past few days should clarify things.
The bedroom, the bathroom, the living room, the kitchen, the fitting room in a shopping mall, the couch in a private theater...
The kitchen incident happened while Chisato was cooking. As for the shopping mall and the private theater, Kazusa had been the one to take the initiative.
Dark Wing, which had been frequently disturbed by Eriri and Utaha during their visits to Chisato's apartment, often had to flee out onto the balcony just to find some peace at night.
Yet after moving in with Kazusa, the bird came to a realization—those two girls combined were nothing compared to this one.
This was the final frenzy, so to speak.
Regardless, Chisato put in some effort and finally managed to satisfy Kazusa to the point where she drifted off into a deep sleep.
Based on past experiences, she would probably nap for another hour or two before waking up.
Chisato got dressed and checked the time—it was a little past eight.
Today, he had plans to visit Eriri's house. They had agreed on 10 a.m., so there were still two hours left.
Since he was supposed to visit as a "normal" friend, there was no need to prepare any formal gifts.
Just picking up some desserts, snacks, or fruit on the way would suffice. There was no rush—leaving an hour early would be enough.
After freshening up, he went to the kitchen, took some ingredients from the fridge, and lit the stove to fry some bacon and ham.
This morning, he planned to have a sandwich with milk.
He also prepared a portion for Kazusa, wrapped it in plastic wrap, and left a note on the plate:
"Microwave for one minute before eating."
As he sat at the dining table, eating while browsing the news on his phone, his screen lit up with an incoming call from Touma Youko.
Chisato answered without hesitation.
"Good morning, Chisato-kun."
"Good morning, Miss Youko."
"You and Kazusa are already so deeply in love. Shouldn't you start calling me 'Mom' by now?"
"..."
"Still not used to it? Oh well, I won't force you. How's Kazusa doing?"
Chisato sighed in relief.
"She's still sleeping—it's pretty early, after all."
"Oh? Was it because you stayed up late last night, or was there some 'morning exercise' involved?"
"..."
Chisato raised an eyebrow.
How was he supposed to respond to such a bold remark from his future mother-in-law?
Was this really the kind of conversation a senior should be having with a junior?
The day after the fireworks festival, when Chisato moved in with Kazusa, the news had quickly reached Touma Youko through Aunt Ohara, who took care of Kazusa.
Once Youko had finished dealing with work, she called to probe him about it. Since Chisato saw no reason to hide the truth, he admitted it outright.
After that, Aunt Ohara only stopped by every few days in the evening to restock the fridge and clean up. Otherwise, she stayed out of the way entirely.
It was clear that Youko had a great deal of affection for Chisato—after all, he had once saved her life.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have gone out of her way to create this private space for them.
"Chisato-kun, I know boys your age have a lot of energy, and it's easy to get addicted to new experiences.
But moderation is important, you know? Too much of anything is never good. You and Kazusa both need to take care of yourselves.
"In the past few days, I've called several times, and either Kazusa was asleep, or no one picked up. Even back when I was young and wild, I didn't go at it as excessively as you two."
Perhaps realizing her earlier words had put Chisato in a difficult spot, Youko quickly switched to another topic, slipping into a more motherly tone.
"…I understand. We'll be more careful."
That was all Chisato could say in response.
It wasn't that he wanted things this way—Kazusa was simply too proactive. Did Youko have any idea how her daughter had been waking him up for the past three days?
That was something he simply couldn't say out loud.
