She didn't sleep until four in the afternoon that Xia Lu finally opened her eyes.
She wasn't in a hurry to get out of bed, and while she was stretching in bed, the bedroom door was suddenly pushed open.
"Eek!" Fortunately, her reaction was quick, and she immediately withdrew into the blanket, or else her thin nightdress wouldn't cover anything at all.
Zhou Mingchen leaned against the doorframe, "How late do you plan to sleep before you're willing to get up?"
Xia Lu glared at him, "Why don't you knock before entering someone's room!"
"I knocked, but you didn't hear it," Zhou Mingchen said with conviction.
Xia Lu looked at him suspiciously, unsure if what he said was true. It was her fault for having let her guard down lately and forgetting to lock the door out of habit when entering her room.
"Hurry up and get up, come out with me."
"Go out?" Xia Lu was bewildered, he clearly hadn't mentioned going out today, "Where to?"
