Gu Nanqiao rubbed her bleary eyes and then got out of bed.
It seemed there was some faint noise coming from the bathroom, so she walked over.
Huo Jingting was brushing his teeth. Hearing footsteps behind him, he took the toothbrush out of his mouth and turned to look at her, "Don't you want to sleep a little longer?"
"No more sleep for me, I have to go to work soon."
She had taken the previous morning off, and as a result, had accumulated some unfinished work, which she couldn't afford to delay any further today.
Turning back around, Huo Jingting put the toothbrush back in his mouth and asked, his voice muffled, "Have you washed up yet?"
Next to the bedroom was a small bathroom where she usually washed up after getting up.
"No." Gu Nanqiao lazily shook her head, paused, and then added, "Haven't brushed my teeth, haven't washed my face."
Having said that, she walked in from the doorway.
After rinsing his mouth, Huo Jingting smiled and said, "Come here, I'll help you wash up."
