"So you can now talk to trees and are now a Level 6 Ascendent?" Pickle Berry asked, and Lucy nodded with an embarrassing smile. The way Pickle Berry asked the question sounded funny.
"Just like humans and animals evolved when the apocalypse descended, the plants did the same. It's just that most of the evolved plants are good by nature, and that's why we haven't seen a tree monster yet.
But they are there, I can feel them... calling to me. When everything is done here, I will take a trip to the Amazon rainforest and some other woodlands to see my people."
"Your people?" Klaus's mom asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes. I am a Sylvan, so basically, I am a plant in human form. If I turn a blind eye to the plants' calling, I will betray the Mother Tree. That is not something I want to do."
The ladies understood her reasoning. It was just that calling herself a plant didn't sit well with them, like how they wanted it.
