After breakfast, Hannah was summoned by Thane to explain her side of the situation. On entry, the first thing she noticed was Brooke's absence from the interrogation. She looked to Thane, he immediately picked up on her thoughts and wasted no time to answer.
"My wife won't be here for the interrogation, you and I both know she has a soft spot for you. Which is why I won't be sending you away, however, depending on what you say now, I may change my mind." He said, setting the tone for the interrogation.
Hannah nodded her hands in front of her, "Of course, master Grayson." Although she had wanted to speak with Brooke to let her know the truth, she understood it was too much to ask for.
Even now, it was already so kind of him not to have her sent away for her mistake.
Piercing into her mind, Thane asked, "Who were you working for?"
"Miss Tara-"
Thane shot her a harsh glare, "Tara?" He uttered the name as though it were a slur.
