The moment 'Throne of Annihilation' appeared, Kusakabe Ryouko's eyes widened in shock as she glared at Alexander.
"Ha! You expect us to believe you're human? You're clearly a Spirit! And now you've summoned an angel! What excuse could you possibly have left!?"
Alexander glanced at 'Throne of Annihilation' and sighed deeply, wishing he could slap himself. "Of all abilities to reveal… why did it have to be this one?"
He felt utterly helpless. This time, there was no escaping the blame; even if he jumped into the Yellow River, he couldn't wash this off.
"Hehe, my dear, still trying to explain yourself? It's no use. We're clearly a 'couple' now, and no amount of excuses will change that." Kurumi clung to Alexander's arm, her mischievous smile proving she was deliberately adding fuel to the fire.
Seeing their intimate interaction, Ryouko shouted to her team, "Everyone, attack! Eliminate these two!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Several AST operatives surged forward. Alexander shot Kurumi with a helpless glance.
"Well, are you satisfied now?" he muttered.
Alexander stepped forward with a resigned sigh, gripping 'Throne of Annihilation', which transformed into a massive sword in his hands.
Swish!
With a single swing, a surge of powerful spiritual energy and sword aura erupted, barreling towards their attackers. Alexander's mastery of swordsmanship—honed to a level far surpassing Shido Itsuka—is enough to instill fear in anyone. The AST operatives immediately felt an overwhelming pressure.
Only one person dared to rush forward.
"Haah!"
A petite figure, with short white hair and a delicate, doll-like face, charged fearlessly. Despite her appearance, she exuded a chilling aura.
It was Tobiichi Origami—known as the "Origami Ace." Her hatred for spirits, born from the tragedy of losing her parents to them, drove her relentless pursuit of vengeance.
Swish!
A lightsaber appeared in Origami's hands, its glowing blade slashing through the air as she lunged at Alexander.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Their blades clashed repeatedly, sparks flying as the two exchanged blows. Origami's speed and precision were remarkable, but Alexander's skill and strength easily outmatched hers.
"Why so desperate? Sometimes, things aren't what they seem," Alexander said calmly, parrying her strikes effortlessly.
"Shut up! What would a Spirit like you know!?" Origami retorted, her piercing gaze burning with hatred.
Alexander sighed. There was no reasoning with her—not now. Reality would have to teach her the truth in due time.
"Alexander, let's wrap this up and leave. The longer we stay, the worse it'll get if reinforcements arrive," Kurumi suggested.
Alexander nodded in agreement. It was pointless to waste more time battling AST operatives.
Breath of Thunder: Sixth Form – Rumble and Flash!
Crackle!
A surge of thunder erupted from Alexander, its sheer power sending Origami flying back despite her defenses.
"Shields up!" Ryouko shouted, and the AST members scrambled to activate their energy barriers.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The energy shields barely absorbed the attack, a testament to Alexander holding back. Had he unleashed his full strength, the AST team would have been obliterated in an instant.
"It seems you managed to block that. Well then… let's see if you can handle this!"
Alexander smiled faintly as 'Throne of Annihilation' began to glow. The energy from the throne behind him surged into the blade, causing it to grow larger.
Shidou had once used this technique to create a ten-meter-long sword. However, compared to Alexander who possessed the combined spiritual power of both Kurumi and Tohka at his disposal…
Whoosh!
A colossal thirty-meter-long sword materialized, its blade shimmering in the sky. Alexander stared at the weapon in surprise, momentarily taken aback by its sheer size.
"Wow," he muttered. "I didn't think it would be this… big."
The AST operatives froze in shock, their faces filled with disbelief.
"Why does this male spirit feel… kind of perverted?" one of them muttered under their breath.
Alexander, wielding the enormous sword with ease, grinned and called out, "Come on, I'll let you run twenty-nine-meter first~"
