Chapter 146 - Tus Nadair Celebrates!

What came into Night Silver's view was an odd little box of sorts. She picked it up, and peered inside. Oh my goodness! This… This is their inventory. They dropped their ability to have an inventory! Shit… Did the Great Gods do it too? She was flabbergasted, this was not a small benefit by any means. No, there's an item in here… Huh, so they had an item that let them keep their inventory, but now that they've lost their souls, the inventory still remains waiting for another host. Perhaps that is the reason? Hmm… I'll keep these in a safe place for now. They could prove useful for my children. "I'm taking these boxes, and their equipment, you can have their bodies. I don't care what you do with them. Desecrate them, eat them, or bury them, I don't really care."

After picking up the remaining seven boxes, she left the cliff with her children and Brightness following shortly after her. The dragons were puzzled by the odd display just now. Though, it didn't take long for them to begin enjoying their spoils. Anastasi on the other hand, couldn't help but follow after her big sister.

~ Night Silver's Home ~

She returned home, and located the perfect hiding place for the eight cubes she collected, storing them away, and locking it down with an intense barrier. She soon made a copy of this barrier all around her home to throw off anyone who might try to look for those items. There, now they'll have to break all the barriers at once, or get stupid lucky. They are incredibly important, children of my own loins, won't need them. However, as an enticing reward, they hold immense value. The power to gain an inventory just like that. Is not something to be taken lightly. "A shame that my old friends didn't have the same item when I killed them way back when."

"Hmm, what do you mean mother?"

"Well, you know how you and all of your brothers and sisters have their own inventories like me? Mommy can use those items to give a worthy Nadairian an inventory of a similar nature."

"Woah! That's so cool!"

"Right, that will be a rather helpful thing for porters. I can imagine it being rather rough without having one of them…"

Brightness arrived as his mate was speaking. "Fortunately we have many magic users here that are more than willing to aid in the transfer of goods. I know not the size of these inventories, but we haven't needed them yet… Even then, I'm sure the people would be over the moon to receive such a reward from their mother."

"Oh!" Telam remembered something from a little earlier. "Mommy, daddy, are you going to have more babies!"

She couldn't hold in her laughter, so while laughing she answered. "Of course we are. Just as you have wanted, I too have wanted. However, it seems like there is another matter we have to address first."

Anastasi arrived, she had already taken her human form by the time she entered the home. "Uhm, Big Sister… After that fight I… Uh… I… I love you."

The children giggled. "Oh! Looks like aunty is getting a promotion soon."

Night Silver smiled, doing her best not to throw Anastasi down on the bed right away. "I see, so you hold love for me… I had wondered why you tailored that form to my desires. I suspect that Brighty put you up to that?"

Brightness chuckled a little. "Well, I know how you are. And she seemed to be rather adamant about it."

"Please, tell me, do you have the same feelings?" Anastasi asked, stepping closer.

"Children, leave. Go play with the people and let them know the earth may be shaking again for a while." She said, with the jitters. "Ana, and I are going to be enjoying each other." She licked her lips.

Listening to their mother, the children left the home nest once more. They went around and spread the word. All of the details about what happened, how the world is now free from the evil murderous tyrants, how the goddess is going to have more children, and how there's a new woman lover of their goddess, the healing mother, Anastasi.

Though, just before they could begin… The shaking the world gave off, announced the family of deities was soon to announce a successful attempt at bearing children. Now, some people had only ever heard rumors about what was happening, and so, the older people told tales of the goddess' love making, and how it always inspired women all over Tus Nadair.

And just like clockwork, in response to the celebratory atmosphere, and the rumbles of love surrounding them all, another baby boom had begun. Even the full lesbian families had roped an effeminate man into their relationship, just so they could participate this time.

The full men relationships had a significantly harder time finding women that weren't already spoken for… And thus they couldn't participate, much to their dismay. Even so, they partied up with everyone else, enjoying the love filled atmosphere the best they could. For this was Tus Nadair, whatever they did, they did with full effort, whether that was work, or play.

Elsewhere, while Tus Nadair celebrated triumph over the wretched ones who'd dared to lay a finger on their pantheon, Eryuentiu was struggling a little bit with their sudden loss of those they had looked up to as mighty protectors. Though Tsa had done his best to mitigate any issues, there was a small handful of people that had a very difficult time comprehending their loss.

These people were the women who served the purpose of bearing the children of the Eight Greed Kings, as well as the children themselves. And yet, while they were struggling, the people that had been their friends, and even family, turned on them. The one ones they could rely on for help was each other.

"What should we do? We're going to be killed if we stay like this."

"Come into the castle, and speak with me. We can discuss what happens next when my friend becomes available once more. She's a bit preoccupied conceiving another child, but I'm sure she won't have a problem with me sheltering you for now."

"Huh? Is that the Platinum Dragon Lord!"

"Yes, though to be frank, this is really your only choice. You'll die otherwise, so take this window of hope.
