Nectar soaked Elara's clothes and dripped to the floor, missing Theo's palm only by a small margin as he pulled back. It was a serious fight. She might misunderstand and think he had taken advantage of her if his hand remained behind longer than necessary.
"Haaah-" Elara took a deep breath only to lose it a moment later in a heave. Her temperature seemed to rise by a few degrees, and glowing sweat gathered on her forehead, smearing the floor underneath her. However, she did not care about the inconvenience, or more precisely, she didn't even notice it.
She tried to muster some power to stand up, to resist the temptation of surrendering to the man towering above her, yet it seemed that her body melted and escaped out of the reach of her nervous system.
Theo took in the sight of the beautiful, formerly unruly woman sprawling before his feet, defeated. Her long, blonde hair was in disarray like a sheet of gold, with a few hairs sticking to her perspiring nape.
