Liu Chen spoke as he reached back, and the middle-aged man behind him promptly handed over a scroll. Liu Chen took it and placed it in Lin Jian's hands.
"Please have a look." He smiled, gesturing for Lin Jian to unroll the painting.
Lin Jian's mind wasn't much clearer than Wu Teng's at the moment. He still hadn't figured out why the previously arrogant Wu Teng suddenly became such a coward, his face showing a riot of colors like a vegetable market, yet unable to say a single word.
Fortunately, Lin Jian's wife, Wu Yu, gently nudged him, preventing him from making a fool of himself.
"Alright, alright." Lin Jian snapped back to reality, nodding quickly and then unrolling the scroll.
The guests crowding around to watch the excitement gasped again.
"Is this... Is this the Spring Mountain Snowscape Painting?" Lin Kang, standing behind Lin Jian, exclaimed in astonishment.
"That's right," Liu Chen responded with a smile.
