I tried to call you several times but every time it was disconnected saying you were out of network coverage. Where did you suddenly go on your own? Is everything okay with you?"
Quietly rolling his gaze at Stephan's text on his phone, Kylian exhaled a deep sigh while turning his phone off. With a frown curved between his brow ridge, he held a contemplated gaze towards the murky sky while sitting at the doorstep of that thatched hut. Fiddling his fingertips, he continued worrying on his own.
'I bet Stephan must've been skeptical of me by now, especially if he realizes Zenith was also outside the campus today. I didn't expect that we would have to stay the night here…but…it would be quite dangerous for both of us to trail down the mountain path. But…how would I deal with Stephan's questions the next time we meet?
