Fu Shinian's expression was heavy, but Su Mu deliberately avoided thinking about what it might mean. She asked Fu Shinian:
"Where's Qiqi? Where's Qiqi? Did you bring her back?"
Fu Shinian shook his head. "Susu, calm down."
"How can I calm down!" Su Mu shouted, but immediately felt that she shouldn't have. Yet the anxiety, worry, and even pain in her chest were tearing at her with such force that she felt on the verge of collapse. She looked at Fu Shinian, opened her mouth to apologize, but suddenly thought of something:
"Wen Shaoyuan, did you call Wen Shaoyuan? Qiqi might have gone to find him; you know she likes him the most."
In truth, Su Mu herself probably knew Qiqi couldn't be with Wen Shaoyuan—after all, Qiqi had been taken away by Yu Xin. But there was always hope. What if Qiqi was still angry with her, trying to scare them deliberately? What if she had asked Yu Xin to take her to Wen Shaoyuan?
It wasn't impossible.
