Even though Wen Shaoyuan didn't know exactly what Ji Qingluan had promised that man, he could tell from her expression that it wasn't anything good. He tried to intervene, but Ji Qingluan stopped him with a look and smiled faintly:

As she spoke, she walked over and hugged Wen Shaoyuan, lowering her voice by his ear: "You're smart, so if there's a chance later, take Qiqi and run. Don't look back. Don't worry about me."
