It's a little after four in the afternoon.
Shen Xingchen just finished a group meeting and her phone rang just as she stepped out of the conference room.
She took her phone out of the pocket of her lab coat and saw it was a call from Madam Shen.
"Aunt." She answered the call and called out, "Aunt."
"Xingchen." On the other end, Madam Shen called her name and then said seriously, "Xingchen, Aunt has something to tell you."
Madam Shen's seriousness made Shen Xingchen vigilant too, and she straightened her back a bit as she said, "Aunt, tell me, I'm listening."
"Your uncle has moved out, he's living over at International City now, and might not be coming back." Madam Shen spoke these words with a hint of mystery.
This morning, when Shen Li came back from the company, the old man still gave him a hard time, saying he was nothing without the Shen family.
Shen Li didn't want to hear his nagging, so he simply went to International City.
