Minutes after Momiji makes her pronouncement, Waverly leaps into action. The Wendigo is his second home, after all, and before Momiji can say "code violations," she precipitously finds herself waist-deep in water while Waverly bellows, "RELEASE THE KRAKEN!"
He definitely has that 1980s Clash of the Titans vibe. I couldn't get through the 2000s remake. The gold standard for me is the 1981 version with Harry Hamlin as Perseus, Sir Laurence Olivier as Zeus, Claire Bloom as Hera, the great and late Dame Maggie Smith as Thetis, Ursula Andress as Aphrodite, Jack Gwillim as Poseidon, and Judi Bowker as Andromeda.
Krakthulhu and Mama Krak swim into the restaurant, provoking Momiji further. "What are you doing?" she demands, powering up.
"Just what you said. Washing this place clean," Daji chuckles, enjoying this.
"But THEY'RE here." Momiji points at Krakthulhu and Mama Krak.
