[Land of Earth - Hidden Rock Village]
A Hidden Rock shinobi rushed into the Tsuchikage's office, kneeling before the old leader of the village. The man looked nervous and hesitated to speak, there was something which was very important that he had to say to the Tsuchikage, anyone could tell that by just how he was looking and how he entered but still he stayed there, hesitating to speak.
"Lord Tsuchikage! We have lost contact with Roshi during his last mission!"
The room fell silent. Onoki narrowed his eyes, "What did you say ?" He asked while turning his face side ways to that his ears could point at the young man.
He wasn't young anymore, his hearing and all-over senses for that matter have been falling for a long time now.
The man expression at this twisted, he gather courage once again and said it out aloud.
This time the old kage heard him and his expression a mix of concern and anger. His wrinkled face twitched as he placed his hands on his desk.
"Lost contact? what do you mean by lost contact ?" he growled. "Roshi is a Jinchuriki! There aren't many people who can defeat him!"
The shinobi hesitated before continuing. "We don't know what happened. His entire squad has disappeared. There were no signs of battle or distress signals. It's as if they vanished."
"Bullshit, don't talk nonses, people won't just get vanished out of nowhere, especially Jinchuriki..." Onoki clenched his fists. His first thought was betrayal. Roshi had always been stubborn, never fully agreeing with the village's methods. Could he have abandoned them? Gone rogue?
"Tch... that fool! I knew he was getting restless, but to think he'd actually leave!" Onoki muttered.
However, a small voice in the back of his mind told him something wasn't right. Roshi was strong, one of their greatest weapons. If he truly had left, there should have been some kind of warning, some kind of sign.
Though no Jinchuriki live a good life, but in general both Haan and Roshi in the Rock village considerably good a life.
Not to mention, he himself don't see Roshi out of the two jinchuriki doing this. Roshi was older among the two and had more minds, he didn't act on his impluse. Doing something like Rebelling or Defecting right now in peace time. He don't see what Roshi would have been thinking.
Onoki took a deep breath and made his decision. "I won't take any chances. Send out a search team immediately! I want Roshi found, whether he's a traitor or not!"
The shinobi bowed. "Yes, Lord Tsuchikage!" He disappeared in a flash.
Meanwhile, far from the Hidden Rock, two figures sat in a quiet hideout. Suigetsu and Haku had just received the same news all thanks to the few gadgets Shika told them to use.
This world has technology but hardly any people actually use it, Shika told them to use technology like short distance radio's or other things for ear dropping. And it work like a charm. It was hard to put a mic inside Tsuchikage office though but they some how did it by putting one on the person who mostlydo the paper works.
And it worked as well, since hardly anyone use technology not many people actually try to defend against it either. There was no radio interrupting frequency or anything.
Haku leaned back against the wall, clicking his tongue in frustration. "Damn it. We should've seen this coming."
Suigetsu, sitting across from him, had a troubled expression. "If Roshi really was captured... then Akatsuki is moving faster than we expected." Does this means that they already have captured the tail beast before four tails ?
"We have to go after Roshi..."
"And leave the other Jinchuriki here alone. Don't be an idiot. There is no saying that we gonna find him but at least we can look after the five tail jinchuriki."
"We need to inform this to Shika."
"Yes, that we have to do."
Haku's gaze darkened and he immediately took out the paper to write this to Shika.

[Land of Lightning - Hidden Cloud Village]
Two shadowy figures moved unseen through the Hidden Cloud Village. Tobi and Zetsu were experts in infiltration, and with their combined abilities, slipping past the village's security was almost effortless.
Zetsu's white half emerged from the ground, scouting the area. "She's in the east sector. There are two guards at the entrance."
Tobi chuckled softly. "Too easy." With a swirl of his Sharingan, he phased through the walls of the building where the Two-Tails Jinchuriki, Yugito Nii, was resting. She was fast asleep, unaware of the danger lurking around her.
Zetsu's black half took control. "We must move quickly. If she wakes up, things will get troublesome."
Tobi didn't respond. He simply placed his hand on Yugito's shoulder. In an instant, she vanished into the swirling vortex of his Kamui. She didn't even get a chance to wake up.
Tobi smirked. "Just like that, one of the Cloud's strongest is gone. Now Eight Tails."
Zetsu frown at this, "Don't underestimate him, unlike the girl here, Killer Bee has is a complete Jinchuriki. Make sure to be cautious.
Keeping our identity hidden is more important than capturing the eight tails right now.
Tobi turned to leave, his voice playful yet eerie. "I know, I know."
And unfortunately, they indeed wasn't able to capture the eight tails as he was awake and fighting him inside the village would definately cause too much noise.

The next morning, a loud crash echoed through the Raikage's office as he slammed his fist into his desk, splitting it in half. His face twisted with rage.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YUGITO IS MISSING?!" he roared. His subordinates flinched, sweating under his furious gaze.
"L-Lord Raikage… there were no signs of a struggle." one of the shinobi stammered.
The Raikage's fists clenched tightly. His breathing was heavy, and his eyes burned with fury. Then, suddenly, he remembered something.
A few days ago, a kunoichi had warned him—she had spoken about a dangerous organization that was targeting Jinchuriki.
"Akatsuki…" he muttered, his teeth grinding.
He couldn't say for sure, he had too little information about this but he knew this much that he had to find that woman, only Yuguure was it.
Though it possible that Yugito has escape but there is also a possibility that what the woman told him was the truth.
"Find out who did this! NOW!" the Raikage ordered.
His rage filled the entire room. He would not let this slide. Whoever took Yugito was going to pay.
