According to Aria's orders, the High Priests continued to handle the administration of the Serpent Empire as usual. Zara then took Charles to the Serpent Empire's treasure vault, where Charles could take any treasures he desired.
General Sost, on the other hand, was sent straight back to the front lines. After all, the recent war between the Serpent Empire and the Stellar Empire had been incredibly intense.
Before leaving the Serpent's Eye Lake Oasis, General Sost made a point of meeting with Charles. Charles also wanted to get to know General Sost better. So, the two of them met directly at the entrance to the oasis.
"I've seen many humans in my time, but you are the only one willing to offer help to the Serpents. You've truly taken me by surprise," General Sost said bluntly.
