Before the magic warhammer could fly back, Bruto had already charged towards another Demon Spider. The Dwarf's transformed body was comparable in size to the Demon Spider, even heavier, which gave Bruto the confidence to face the Demon Spider head-on.
Facing the oncoming enemy, the Demon Spider spread its two forelimbs to their maximum, then snipped with full force. Although Bruto raised his shield in front, the scythe-like forelimbs of the Demon Spider bypassed the shield's obstruction to directly attack his body, yet Bruto... made no special response, crashing straight into it.
As it turned out, that was the best response.
