If they had simply executed him I may have granted these shitheads a quick death but this was clearly a personal attack. These bandits made Baha suffer before leaving him hanging there to succumb to his injuries only after we had left. I inhaled deeply and firmly memorized the scents of each and every last bandit I could smell having been here. I cut Baha down first and spent a few minutes burying him in a grave deep enough to keep most things from digging him back up. Once that was done however I breathed in the dusty air and chased after the first scent I recognized.-
It lead to the camp that Brick and I had cleared previously to blind Nine-toes to what was happening in Fyrestone. These new bandits who had taken over this spot were idling about the camp when I ripped off the head of the one guarding the entrance and crushed it in my hand.
"HE KILLED JEFF, GET HIM!" a marauder yelled angrily and all hell broke loose.
I dashed forward low to the ground and grabbed the nearest bandit before flames, electricity and acid erupted from my hand to reduce them to nothing in a split second. This elemental combination cloaked my hands as I went from bandit to bandit and erased them from the planet.-
Soon I found a scent I recognized and unlike the others knocked this bandit out. I found seven others who were there when Baha was attacked in this camp and tied them up in a circle before kicking each of them awake.
"You ants attacked Baha and beat him till he died before leaving him to rot from his ceiling fan, why?" I demanded coldly.
"He was in good with those fucking vault hunters and ruined everything! He got what he deserved!" A marauder said before spitting in defiance.
"Where are the others who took part in the attack?" I asked with a frosty glare.
"I'll eat your ears!" a psycho yelled and that brought a cruel smile to my lips.
"Oh one of you will talk, eventually." I said as I grabbed the first marauder and used my guns blade to cut off his pants legs and chest coverings.
In front of all the others I pressed my finger against the marauders leg and began to secrete acid from the tip. Not much but more than enough to start eating through his flesh. The marauder screamed as I slowly started to write "T.K. BAHA" over and over again across the mans skin in fine print even as whole limbs weep puss and blood from them as the letters stand out in angry red. The marauder dies screaming in agony halfway up his torso with my writing after I already covered both arms and legs in Baha's name.
"What a pity, he died before I could finish with his torso! Oh well! Who's next?" I asked with a grin as I turned to eye the other bandits.
All of them including the two psychos shifted uncomfortably in place at this but I had to give it to them, none of them betrayed their missing buddies. That was fine though since I had all the time in the world to play with each of them until one of them let slip what I wanted to know.
"No! I won't let you! " A midget screamed before biting his tongue off as I grabbed his leg to drag him into the center of the circle with the fresh corpse of the first subject.
"Ah ah ah! No suicide!" I chided as I reached into his mouth and scorched his bleeding nub till it was nice and cauterized. "Just for that I'll treat you EXTRA nice!" I said as the midget stared up at me in terror.
True to my word I walked over to pile of scrap and dug out two poles of rusted metal. I wrapped them together with wire I found to form a cross that I stuck the midget to them naked and hung up the crucifix in the center of the camp where it was sunniest. Crucifixion was an incredibly slow method of death and highly unpleasant as well.-
Especially with the flies and Rakk that would have no qualms tormenting the one lashed to the crucifix.
"I'd say he'll die in a day or two at most if the Rakk don't rip out something vital. At minimum though he'll be up there for at least several hours. Anyone having a change of heart yet? I promise whoever gives up the others first with have a painless death." I said casually to the remaining six bandits who remained silent. "No takers? That's fine, take all the time you need. Eny, meny, miny, moe, skin a bandit starting with the toes." I started to choose the next bandit.
I eventually grabbed one of the psychos and some nearby rope before tying one end around the ankles before tossing the rest over a rusted piece of what appeared to be a ships metal support that stuck out of the ground just high enough to hang the bandit from upside down. I then held up two fingers and sent and arc of electricity through them before tazing the wiggling screaming bandit over and over again in different spots. Eventually the psycho's heart gave out and I just left the corpse dangling there as I returned to the other bandits.-
"They are holed up in Boneheads old place!" a marauder yelled spilling the beans in fear.
"I'll eat your liver with at the angry plants!" the remaining psycho screamed and tried to drag themselves over to the squealer to kill them.
"Looks like we have a winner! Congratulations you've won an all expense paid trip to hell, express shipping!" I said as I grabbed the marauders head with both hands and squeezed, HARD.
"CRUNCH!"
The head collapsed between my hands as blood and other substances showered the other bandits.
I took a deep breath then spoke "The thing about competition is that there can only be one winner, and you all aren't it." I said with a smirk.
No longer needing to waste time tormenting them one by one I piled every flammable object I could find in this camp together in a wide pile before stacking the remaining bandits on top of it. I then reached down and pressed my finger into the oil trail I made leading to the pile and sparked a flame on it. The flame burned the oil up and chased it's way to the pile that ignited in a glorious rush of heat as the bandits screamed.-
Immolation may not take long to kill someone but it was absolutely not a good way to die. Excruciating until the nerves were fried off and then you feel nothing at all which is it's own type of torment. I left the screaming pile of future barbeque and headed over to where I was told the rest of the bandits who attacked Baha were. I smelled their presence long before I saw them playing poker of all fucking things in boredom.-
"It's one of the vault hunters! Get im!" a Bruiser yelled when he saw me.
The bandits fired at me but missed or hit my shield to little effect. My pearlescent quality on the shield wasn't just for show as the bullets even in the dozens pinged off it harmlessly. Those with unfamiliar smells were given a lead mercy while those who were involved were knocked out one by one. It was only five in total which lined up with what my nose told me as far as numbers went. I stripped each of them and carved the Eridian symbol for "Vault" on their chests before impaling them alive through the asses on metal spikes to serve as a warning for others.-
"It's done. I'm heading back to New Haven now." I sent Scooter and the others before heading to Fyrestone to use the fast travel station.
Scooter was waiting for me when I returned reemerged from the digital space in New Haven.
"Hey man thanks for goin and taking care of those sons o bitches that killed T.K like that. Me n the boys'll raise our glasses in his name tonight, you're welcome to sit with us." he said patting my shoulder and leaving an oil stain.
I nodded but didn't mind the oil stain at all since it came with being a mechanic. I went to the bounty board after that and looked for something else to do. I wasn't the type to grieve and I avenged Baha so that was the end of that matter as far as I was concerned. It helped that I barely knew the guy. He was a bit odd but friendly enough and helpful as well but that was pretty much it. Honestly I was more pissed that the bandits attacked him because of us, made it personal.
