Huo Jingtang felt he couldn't stay anymore; they parted on bad terms.
After leaving the hospital, Huo Jingtang stood in an open space, where the wind blew, but it couldn't dispel his worries, making his current mood seem very heavy.
He called Qin Yucen, "Where are you?"
"I'm at the hotel," Qin Yucen's voice carried a lazy nasal quality.
"I'm not there, and you're lazing in bed again," Huo Jingtang guessed she hadn't gotten up at all.
"I've been too tired lately, I finally got to sleep in," Qin Yucen said, tilting her head to look at the bright sunshine outside.
"Wait for me in bed, I'll be right back," Huo Jingtang's words were filled with ambiguity, making Qin Yucen's ears turn red. She could only curse him silently, while he didn't care at all.
After talking to Qin Yucen on the phone, his mood seemed to improve a lot. She was his happy pill, it seemed; hearing her voice was enough for him to forget all his troubles.
