Tang Jin's hand rested on the woman's arm, and sensing something was off, he forcibly pressed down on her shoulders to turn her around, only to see a tear-streaked, pretty face, with faint sobbing sounds still lingering.
"What's happened? Weren't you just fine?" Tang Jin was startled and suddenly felt at a loss. He knew that this woman rarely cried; her tears, scalding hot, fell onto his fingers, causing a slight sting in his heart as well.
Mu Jiujiu didn't make a sound, just nuzzled into the man's embrace, with feelings inside her that she couldn't quite articulate.
Tang Jin's expression looked somewhat panicked, his hand that hung in mid-air eventually settled on the woman's back, gently patting, his chin resting on top of the woman's head. He guessed why she was crying, so the corners of his lips slowly turned up.
"Tang Jin, can I still trust you?" Mu Jiujiu buried her face in the man's chest, her voice nasal and muffled as she spoke.
