"Have you really decided?" An Qin looked at Li Chen and asked quite seriously.
"Don't worry." Li Chen smiled and spoke, "I'll be back soon, what's there to be afraid of."
An Qin nodded lightly in response, "Don't be like you were before."
Li Chen fell silent for a moment; he knew what An Qin meant by "like before."
Since encountering ancient martial arts, Li Chen had brushed with death numerous times. Surviving till now really came down to fighting for his life.
Just like last time, he had actually resigned himself to the possibility of dying back then.
Although he survived in the end, even now, he still feels a lingering fear. Not to mention how worried those around him must have been.
"I understand." Li Chen smiled, suddenly reaching out to hug An Qin, gently kissing her on the head.
"Even though as a leader, I'm indeed living quite a miserable life. Yet, I still really like the life with you and everyone else."
