As the last of the guests left, Rain stretched her arms and glanced around the now-quiet living room. "Wait… where are Dad and Aunt Vernice?" she asked, brows drawing together.
"They were just here a while ago," Sanya said, looking toward the hallway.
William came back from the patio and raised a brow. "They're gone. I checked outside. Maybe they snuck away for some alone time?"
Alexander chuckled while unbuttoning his collar. "Wouldn't be surprised. They've been surrounded by people all day."
Melanie nodded. "Honestly, if I just got married like that, I'd disappear too."
Ben, who had been sipping his juice in silence, suddenly grinned and said, "I think I know where they went."
Everyone turned to him.
"What do you mean?" Rain asked.
Ben shrugged playfully. "He's been secretly working on something for weeks now. Said it was supposed to be a surprise for Vernice after the wedding."
