Rose slowly started to hear faint voices in her head; she couldn't tell if it was real or an imagination.
"She is just sleeping, Master. I sense nothing but peace from her," Felonious spoke as he stood beside Cassius's bed, staring down at Rose, who was lying on Cassius's bed.
Cassius stood beside her on the bed, his brows furrowed as he stared at her face.
"Is this a normal thing for humans? Sleep the whole day?" Cassius questioned, frowning.
Felonious shook his head slowly, "No, your majesty. But it's not unlikely. However, Rose is not just a 'human'. She has shown signs of becoming...more." Felonious answered.
Cassius went quiet, his green eyes running from Rose's toes to her face. He had always wondered what Rose's purpose was; he believed she had found his grave for a reason, and that reason was why he was keeping her with him.
He needed to know if she was harmless, or if there was a force within her that had been projected to harm him or his people.
