Purple Jade, after asking Hou Ling all the details of the matter, became suspicious. She decided that she had to tie up the loose ends and remove all traces; otherwise, the outcome wouldn't be good, contradicting her original intentions.
Hou Ling bit his lip and said, "Sister, this was my idea to begin with, so why should you clean up after me? I, Hou Ling, ask for your guidance!"
He knelt down.
Purple Jade was somewhat surprised and looked at him intently.
"Hou Ling comes from a humble background and doesn't have any real skills, although he knows a bit of kung fu and has some small cunning, it is all self-taught," Hou Ling lifted his head and said, "Sister, if you could offer some guidance, I would erect a Longevity Plaque for you."
Purple Jade chuckled, "We are not that different in age, why would you erect a longevity plaque for me? Are you trying to jinx me?"
Scratching his head with some embarrassment, Hou Ling said, "Then, should I buy you a Golden Hairpin?"
