"Let me help seal her bloodline, then it will be your turn," Kenneth said casually.
"Just help her," Yield exhaled.

"What?" Kenneth looked at Yield bewildered, "Your situation is more severe than hers. If you don't take measures soon, it won't be long before you are consumed by the world's power."
"I know, but this is for the best."
Yield gave a bitter smile, "You don't know Potterla. Doing this, even if it's to save her life, she will never forgive me."
"She will not only distance herself from me but might even draw her weapon..."
"Perhaps it's for the best; having lost her child and been betrayed by her lover, if she feels no hatred, she will lose the will to survive in this world."
