The footage showed a distorted image of a café.
The machines were also utterly silent, transmitting no sound.
Two technicians were frantically checking the equipment, trying various approaches, but no matter what they did, they couldn't identify the issue.
The people seated at the conference table were beginning to grow irritated.
"What the hell are they saying? Damn it, how are you monitoring this?"
"Don't blame them. This must be some extraordinary technique their kind specializes in. Our current tech simply can't crack this cryptic interference."
"What about lip reading? Can't you decipher the lip movements?"
"The surveillance footage isn't clear enough..."
