Walking through the Teleportation Gate, Durin had his hands in his pockets.
The teleportation hall was just as it was when he left; the walls had already been dismantled, leaving only the rocking chair he used, a small table, and the vinyl record player.
Durin walked past the rattan chair, giving the little puppy a pat on the head.
The latter sat up with a yelp, barked twice loudly, and then belatedly noticed Durin—Since the parents of the previous little short demon had recovered, he had returned to his parents. He was the Commander's grandson and was probably left specially to keep an eye on the Teleportation Gate.
After all, he smiled so fawningly, calling Durin "Mr. Durin" constantly, making Durin feel a bit embarrassed.
Durin tossed him a box of snacks and prepared to go up the city wall.
But before he had taken two steps, several commanders came down, and upon seeing Durin, they started to complain.
