From the macro perspective of productive forces and relations of production, the development of human society is driven by cooperation and game theory among various social actors. Within this competitive dynamic, social individuals and organizations adhere strictly to the principle of survival of the fittest over sufficiently long time scales.
At the specific level of game theory, the interests of the participants in the game differ, and the designers of institutions bear the undeniable mission to optimize the rules of the game.
However, all pursuits of absolute rational design are inherently biased—absolute rationality has never stably existed.
