A new day began as Tilan and her companions woke up in the inn.
The previous day, they had wandered through the streets, completed a simple task, and then returned to the inn to rest at 10 PM.
"This is yesterday's task reward," Tilan said, looking at the spear by her side. Its vintage design included an engraved anti-slip vine pattern on the dark gold shaft, with a bright silver blade featuring a sharp arc.
Descending the stairs to gather in the first-floor hall, Tilan heard Prin raising her short sword high.
"Today, we'll go all out!"
An hour later, the group appeared in a monster-laden valley, filled with gnolls brandishing sticks and axes. These creatures, with their beast-like heads and sharp teeth, appeared exceptionally vicious.
