The early hours of dawn were Tang Shu's shift for the night watch. Taking advantage of the twilight and the others still asleep, she used Qinggong to search for bird nests in large trees within a one-mile radius, gathering quite a haul.
Ren Xiazhi picked up the roasted egg in front of him, pausing thoughtfully before glancing at Tang Shu and starting to eat, while Zhou Daniu across from him didn't question the dubious appearance of the eggs and was already wolfing them down.
Fifteen minutes later, the trio packed up and set off, with newly joined team member Zhou Daniu finally realizing something off about his companions.
