Lydia stared into nothing as she held an open book in the nook cranny by the window.
It had already been three days since she replied to Qhah-el's letter.
Ever since that day, she had been doing nothing but read the books she borrowed from the library.
Knock
Knock
"Your Highness, the snacks you asked for are here," the brunette maid said, but there was no response, so she stood still and waited.
After more than a minute, she knocked again and stated her purpose.
"Come in," Lydia said, her voice uninterested as she continued staring into nothing.
Creak
After the brunette maid and the taster left, Lydia glanced at the tray beside her before leaning back into the window recess and shutting her eyes tight.
She knew she asked for a snack, but she doesn't feel like eating now.
She sighed and opened her eyes, briefly glancing at the Bazark on the left page before closing the book and putting it aside.
