Right after pressing 'Yes', his phone started turning bright white as pixels began coming out of the screen. In front of his eyes, he saw an egg slowly being created, piece by piece. Now on top his lap, an egg the size of large watermelon was sitting there. It had weird reddish patterns on it. Keon stared at it wondering, 'There's really a digimon inside this?'
Almost immediately, a notification popped up on his phone. 'New Tamer Registered' He then noticed that a new app was installed. As he clicked to open it, he was greeted with the following information.

Keon looked at his score with a sour expression. "What the..." Him barely passing the conditions to become a Tamer... He's already somewhat knowledgeable about the process of becoming a Tamer since it's all been recorded before and he read about it.
He knew about the hierarchy in real life as well as in the world of digimon. Tamers born from bad scores usually have terrible to mediocre careers, while those with high scores are talked about throughout the entire internet.
"Fuck..." Keon muttered.
These scores first given act more like a measurement of talent. It's not an actual score that can be increased. For example, you can learn and become better but someone who scored a 0/10 will learn much much slower than someone who scored 10/10 at a particular thing. The scores shown doesn't represent your current capability for a specific stat. They actually show your talent for that stat which you will have for the rest of your life.
Basically, the more Keon thought about it, the more he realized how fucked he is. Although, he did notice how his Body and Mental scores were above average. But presently, he had no idea what those stats meant since he haven't read that much into this, and they only teach those in Digimon Academies.
"Those two stats better be useful…" Keon says frustrated, before continuing on the Digi-App.

Your Digimon Egg is currently analyzing you to best fit as your partner. Compatibility with your digimon is of most importance when becoming a Tamer. Although, be aware that their nature can go in any direction after hatching so it's up to you then.
***
This process can take up to a few days of close monitoring. Make sure to stay nearby so that the Digimon Egg can process your data effectively.

With that, the app didn't have much else important information to give. He stared at the egg that was currently sitting on his lap.
"So you're like… analyzing me…uh…my data right now?" Keon scratched his head confused. He never got how all this digimon stuff worked. Honestly he never cared. But now he had no choice but to. With a digimon, he can easily score a scholarship with a collage that specialize in digimon research. He could then worry less about money.
….
A few days have passed since. He went to school as normal, and spent all his time at home with the egg. He didn't want anyone at his school to know he got an egg. Not because he was suspicious of anymore. But he figured it could be more trouble than anything.
The egg hasn't hatched, and it still looked the exact same. In the meanwhile, Keon decided the best thing he could do for himself now was to get into U.A College. Known to be the best Digimon research academy in his country, with the Alumi usually becoming Heroes. Even with the mediocre score that was given to him, if he could say he graduated from there, he could ensure himself some success.
The Entrance Exam for U.A should be in about three months. Hopefully he still got enough time to prepare. Though, he can't do much till the egg hatches…
