After releasing The Eye of Horus for a quick scan, Arthur's expression immediately turned strange.
"This place… looks so familiar."
He blinked, then led Spider-Man to the spaceship's hatch. They opened the door and crawled out.
"Wow!"
Spider-Man's eyesight was excellent, and even in the dark environment, he could clearly see the surroundings: "Is this… a junkyard?"
The area outside the spaceship was enormous! It was filled with all sorts of strange things—broken spaceships, weapons, parts… everything was in chaos, scattered everywhere.
"No… this is a Raider's warehouse."
Arthur's mouth twitched. No wonder it looked familiar!
This was the place where he had once found a bunch of Asgardian standard-issue armor.
With practiced ease, Arthur led Spider-Man to the entrance. The door was locked, but Arthur knew the password.
After entering the code, the door opened.
Spider-Man looked at the door, then at Arthur: "Don't tell me you've been here before?"
"Unfortunately, I've lived here for a while."
Arthur sighed softly, then casually stored his battle robe and changed into ordinary clothes.
Spider-Man looked at him, pondered for a moment, and then said, "Hmm… I think I forgot to bring a change of clothes. Also, you know, the crotch area of this suit is a bit tight…"
"Trust me, that's not an unsolvable problem."
Arthur pulled Spider-Man out the door, glanced around, and didn't see any Raiders nearby.
However, The Eye of Horus gave him feedback— the Raiders were gathered together in the spaceship's main hall, watching Yondu beat up Star-Lord!
"What a show!" Arthur chuckled, then said to Spider-Man, "I'll take you to watch the show."
"Of course, no problem. But before that, I'd still like to know where this place is."
"Hmm…" Arthur said as they walked, "Raiders are scavengers in the universe, but they're also explorers. They delve into one planet after another, searching for resources and treasures to sell. They also take on missions for rewards. They might be the scruffiest in the universe, but they're also the freest."
"Wow!"
Spider-Man expressed his admiration.
As they spoke, the two of them, led by Arthur, arrived at the main hall.
Yondu was in the middle of beating up Star-Lord, who looked completely dazed. After a solid right hook, Arthur clapped: "Nice, do it again!"
His voice stood out like a crane among chickens.
The ship's bizarre crew immediately turned their attention to Arthur, but after a quick glance, they all focused on Spider-Man: "Good heavens, what kind of monster is this?"
Little did they know that Spider-Man was thinking the same thing.
Seeing so many strange-looking, oddly colored, and scruffy individuals, he was also wondering, what kind of monsters are these?
"Arthur!"
Star-Lord spotted Arthur and immediately widened his eyes: "What are you standing there for? Save me!"
"It's you!" Yondu also looked at Arthur, his expression pausing for a moment.
Arthur grinned: "Long time no see."
The Raiders all recognized Arthur, and as he approached, the crowd parted to make way.
He casually grabbed a chair and sat down, smiling at Yondu. "Keep going."
Star-Lord couldn't believe his ears: "Arthur, take that back, and we can still be friends."
Yondu, on the other hand, sneered at Arthur: "Keep going? I don't know how you got on this ship, but I think you owe me an explanation before you say anything else!"
"I don't think I owe you any explanation."
Arthur shrugged: "Or, you could stop what you're doing, and we can have a proper talk?"
"There's nothing to talk about between us!"
As soon as Yondu finished speaking, a whistle sounded, and a small arrow glowing with light instantly shot toward Arthur.
However, in the next second, a spider web suddenly appeared out of nowhere, one end wrapping around the arrow and the other sticking to the ceiling.
Yondu frowned, about to whistle again, but Arthur grabbed the arrow: "The current situation seems a bit too one-sided, doesn't it? If I were you, I'd reconsider our relationship."
"Hahaha!"
Yondu suddenly laughed: "Well, my friend, you're still as bold as ever. It's no wonder I respect you!"
He then turned to the people beside him: "Let him go."
Arthur's expression was peculiar. Who was Yondu?
As a Raider, he had seen all kinds of people in this starry expanse. Star-Lord might be a great actor, but let's not forget he was raised by Yondu.
He must have seen through Star-Lord's insincerity at a glance.
"A father is willing to believe his son, even if he's lying."
Arthur sighed inwardly and patted Star-Lord on the shoulder: "We…"
Before he could finish his sentence, the entire ship suddenly shook violently…
