Chapter 107 - Chapter 106 Fixing the world One Person at a time III

Inazuma was able to investigate Twice and found that he was in a situation similar to Magne's. After we managed to convince him through scans that he was the original and not a copy, he was highly cooperative and willing to use his powers to create clones that would help in many ways in the medical and technological fields. And since Nezu promised him that they would be lenient in his punishment, he worked even harder for all of them. Since their existence is known to only a few members of the U.A. staff, they are free to make such decisions without interference from the parliament or the government as a whole.

And if one day, the public ever finds out—let's just say that making it public or trying to take action against him will only lead to their ruin, and profit-hungry people like them won't make such foolish decisions.

Then comes the case of Mr. Compress. He was just a magician who wanted to show his skills to the world, and he chose villainy as his path. So basically, he was just a criminal. So we simply put him in prison for some time with many restrictions, and the condition for his release was extensive community service.

Some people don't have any reason for doing things like that—they're just idiots.

One of the most headache-inducing problems was the existence of Gigantomachia. The guy was born with a gigantifying quirk. All For One, seeing the potential, decided not to steal the quirk, but instead tried to create a perfectly loyal dog. The gigantification increased his brain as well. Although the gigantified brain didn't give him additional mental capabilities, it made him even more resilient—especially when quirks were added to him while he was in giant form. Although All For One had to make sure that he remained in that form forever, he was also able to completely reprogram his brain to follow his commands without fail. Even though the numerous added quirks didn't push him into a coma like they did with others, they reduced his brain functions to that of a toddler, and while the damage piled up to reach that point, All For One had already programmed himself into him.

So the chances of him having a breakdown—or more precisely, a tantrum—when he finds out about All For One are so high that it's a certainty. So the only way to deal with him was to do the same thing I did to Chisaki and All For One. I didn't feel even a hint of guilt while doing it, because I had managed to find the records of Gigantomachia before he became what he is now. Let's just say his track record was enough to fill a few volumes. The guy's been alive since the rise of All For One. Plus, from what I found, the one who scared Mina and led to Kirishima's rise wasn't him, but someone else created by All For One to replicate Gigantomachia. That attempt was unsuccessful, as All Might managed to take him out with a single normal punch.

So right now, I'm in front of the cell that holds the last victim of All For One that I need to save before I can say that this is truly over.

"Tomura Shigaraki," I called out his name as he slowly looked up.

His arms were mechanized because I had cut them off a long time ago. But even then, there were traces of flesh in between the cybernetics that connected his wrists to the tips of his fingers, essentially allowing him to use his quirk with his new arms. But it also made it easier to imprison him. The IT guys in the support department were able to shut them off easily without even using a single quirk to manipulate electronics.

"Blood Lightning… Come to gloat, I suppose. Since you think you've won," a raspy reply came from the other side of the glass in the room where he was held.

I took out a chair I had picked up while entering and sat on it, so we could speak face to face.

"Those arms on your body—you do know they don't belong to your family, right?"

Shigaraki flinched for a second, but his composure returned quickly.

"You think I'm an idiot with no clue? I know how my quirk works, and I remember how they all died. Did you think you'd break me mentally like that? I gotta say, that's disappointing coming from the guy who beat the supposed Demon Lord…"

"Your real name is Tenko Shimura. Your quirk was stolen by All For One just as you were born. He did it so he could manipulate you for his own needs. Your father was the only child of Nana Shimura, the seventh user of One For All. She had made sure to separate herself from him to keep him safe from her battles, but this created resentment in his heart against his mother and everyone who aspired to be heroes.

To ensure he could cause great psychological damage to All Might and Gran Torino, All For One decided to gain your father's trust."

Shigaraki's eyes widened as I began speaking about his life with details even he didn't know. But from his expression, I could tell he believed every word. Even though Shigaraki often acts childish and is psychologically unstable, he is great at analysis and calculation. His adaptability in battle is the best example of this. The information I gave him may be hard for normal people to understand immediately, but he was able to connect the dots across many areas of his life.

All For One was never random in his decisions. Shigaraki had seen him make seemingly simple choices that caused serious, complicated issues for his enemies.

Shigaraki had believed his master chose him because of his trauma and his hatred toward the world. Hearing that he was actually related to someone his master wanted to destroy made more sense to him.

A/N- I'm back after the exams and I hope you like it. I'm thinking about writing the MHA fanfic alone for the coming days since it is going to end. So for the Fairy Tail fans, wait for a few days.
