Even the Violet Tavern was named after Miss Violet.
"Rules are meant to be broken," Lynch said casually, slipping a 10,000 Beli bill into the dancer's hand.
"Uh… this…"
She hesitated, then sighed and took the money. "Sir, I understand your admiration for Miss Violet, but we can't go against her instructions."
"Of course," she added, glancing around, "unless you want to tell her yourself."
Lynch said nothing and simply pulled out another 10,000 Beli bill.
The dancer eyed the money, then looked around guiltily. Finally, she flashed a bright smile.
"Sir, you're absolutely right—rules are meant to be broken."
"I believe Miss Violet won't refuse an outstanding man like you."
"I'll inform her right away."
Despite her words, she didn't move an inch.
Lynch smirked and, without a word, placed one more bill into her hand.
"Oh~ my generous sir, thank you for your kindness!" The dancer beamed, overwhelmed with excitement.
"I don't even know how to thank you… How about a high kick just for you?"
Lynch waved her off with a chuckle.
"Oh, I understand, sir!"
"Don't worry, I'll put in a few good words for you with Miss Violet."
"And by the way, my job number is 007—feel free to find me next time. It would be my honor to serve you."
With that, the dancer walked away cheerfully.
Tashigi pouted. "Brother Lynch, you just looked like an evil merchant."
"Haha." Lynch chuckled and patted her head.
"Let me tell you something—money solves 99% of the world's problems. So why not use it?"
The dancer leaned over and whispered something to Violet.
Violet turned, her gaze landing on Lynch.
Lynch raised his glass and toasted her from a distance.
Violet read his lips: Let's drink, beautiful lady.
Interesting man...
Plenty of people had tried to talk to her before, but this was the first time she saw someone sitting with two girls. It piqued her curiosity.
Setting aside her notebook, she pulled a rose from her bag, placed it between her lips, and gracefully walked toward Lynch.
Extending her delicate arm, she invited, "Sir, may I have this dance?"
"I can't dance."
"It's fine. I'll lead you."
"Well, it'd be rude to refuse."
Lynch took her hand and stepped onto the dance floor.
The dancer who had just spoken to Lynch was stunned. "No way… he actually pulled it off?!"
On the dance floor, Lynch and Violet moved in sync, their bodies close as they danced the tango. Under Violet's guidance, they gently held each other's waists, stepping in perfect rhythm.
Violet looked up at Lynch's chin, testing him. "Sir, what business do you have here?"
Tango was an intimate dance, their proximity unavoidable. The soft curves of Violet's exposed neckline and the faint scent of her perfume only added to the atmosphere. With just a glance downward, Lynch could see her impressive figure.
"Should I call you Miss Violet… or Miss Viola?"
The moment her true identity was exposed, Violet's body tensed, her mind racing. But she quickly regained her composure.
"Sir, you must be mistaken."
"Let's not waste time with pretenses, Miss Violet."
Lynch suddenly tightened his grip on her waist, pulling her closer. Leaning in, he whispered in her ear, "I'm about to lower my mental defenses—use your ability."
Violet's Staring Fruit had three highly sought-after powers.
The most dangerous? Mind reading.
As long as the target wasn't overwhelmingly stronger than her, she could see right through their thoughts—making lies completely useless.
X-ray vision.
Clairvoyance—able to scout within a 4,000-kilometer radius.
With all three abilities combined, Violet was an elite scout, valuable enough that even Doflamingo wouldn't simply dispose of her.
The warmth of Lynch's breath near her ear made Violet's face flush. She raised her hands to form a circle in front of her eyes and activated her mind-reading ability on the man before her.
The moment she saw Lynch's true thoughts, her heart pounded wildly—she almost screamed.
"You… You're actually…!"
"Shall we find a quieter place to talk?" Lynch released her from the dance.
Violet hesitated for a second before nodding. "Alright, come to my place."
As the two walked out of the tavern, the staff who knew Violet well were left in shock.
"Did… Did Miss Violet just agree to go with someone?!"
"Oh my God! What kind of man could actually win over Miss Violet?"
"That guy is insane. Absolutely legendary."
Thousands of people had tried to approach Violet in this tavern, but he was the first to succeed.
"Wait, did you notice he had two girls with him?"
"Are you kidding me?! He brought girls to pick up a girl—and it worked?! If the boss gives a seminar on this, I'm kneeling to take notes!"
The tavern buzzed with excitement as the dancers rushed to spread the news to their friends.
The male guests who knew Violet exchanged glances before turning to Lynch with admiration.
On this day, countless men hailed Lynch as the "Grandmaster of Romance."
Meanwhile, as Lynch walked down the street, his eyes lingered on Violet's swaying hips, lost in thought.
Did I forget something...?
"Achoo!"
Back at the tavern, Fujitora—still enjoying his gambling—sneezed out of nowhere.
—
Violet's Residence
After leading Lynch inside, Violet shut the door, drew the curtains, and double-checked the room three times. Finally, she let out a sigh of relief.
"Alright, no one's watching."
Her gaze turned sharp. "Are you really the King of West Blue?"
Lynch lifted his disguise with Life Return, revealing his true appearance.
"One hundred percent authentic."
Though she had mentally prepared herself, Violet's heart still raced at the sight of his striking face.
"Then... your plans—are they all real?"
Violet's excitement was clear. Her chest rose and fell rapidly, barely contained by her dress.
The legendary Emperor of West Blue—here to help her?
She wouldn't have dared to dream of such a thing.
"Didn't you already use your Glare-Glare Fruit to confirm?" Lynch asked.
"I'm sorry... this is just too sudden. I can hardly believe it," Violet admitted, still overwhelmed.
Taking a deep breath, she steadied herself and placed her hand over Lynch's, her eyes filled with determination.
"What do you need me to do? As long as I can drive out Doflamingo and restore my family's honor, I'll do anything!"
Lynch nodded approvingly.
"Good. I'll make sure your wish comes true."
He handed her a small note.
"First, find your father, brother-in-law, and niece. I assume you know where they are?"
"If not, this note lists the places they frequent."
"You have one day—bring them to me."
Violet clutched the note like a priceless treasure.
"Thank you... Thank you so much!"
