"What a lovely surprise by you." Phillip greeted him the moment Brandon stepped into his office. " I wasn't expecting you."
"Weren't you?" Brandon and cold out, slightly dry with his stone. Because Philip had been quite stressful about the fact that Brandon had to reach his office at the earliest possible time.
The constant emails, constant reminders by his secretary over the phone, were more than enough to tell how much was expecting him to come on time as soon as possible.
"I thought you might come by after lunch. Youngsters these days do not take such proceedings seriously." Phillip shook his hand before guiding him to sit in a more informal setting on the sofa.
Brandon got comfortable before he spoke again. "Apart from everything, did I really need to be here?"
