"Our marriage?" The look of shock in her eyes made Alric frown. His face darkened immediately.
"Why? Is miss stone planning to discard me after using me to the fullest!" he teased but she could see the nervousness in his eyes. It only made him look more adorable.
"Hmm, perhaps!" she hid her laugh when his eyes narrowed. "But if you can convince me otherwise, I am ready to change my decision." The man looked at her with desire as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled her closer.
But before she could kiss him, she heard footsteps.
"Boss! The man had committed suicide!" Nora frowned. Chris loved himself too much. He would never let go of hope of living this easily.
