Chapter 3933 - 3933

Chapter 3933: Used to Dying Early

In the Gather Power state, the strength of billions of undead servants, along with the power of all the Great Daos converged from the Myriad Worlds, descended from the void. The storage space could isolate everything, yet it didn't prevent Lin Moyu from drawing on it for his spells. The 800 billion undead servants in the storage space could also provide power for Lin Moyu.

Lin Moyu's aura rapidly soared, and he soon felt himself reach a kind of peak. He didn't try to push further, but simply maintained himself at this level.

"This current state is the peak of the Dao Lord realm, which is the level of a Great Dao Lord. It shouldn't be Eternity Eternity is a kind of recognition, an acknowledgment from heaven, earth, and the Origin Land, not a specific realm. In terms of realm alone, Eternal beings and Great Dao Lords shouldn't be too different, but their actual combat power is another matter. Great Dao Lords see the world from a much clearer perspective than ordinary Dao Lords. I'd guess that powerful World Lords, with the help of world power, can achieve a similar effect."

Lin Moyu analyzed, comparing Dao Lords, World Lords, Great Dao Lords, and Eternal beings. The difference isn't just in raw power, but in the level of the Great Dao. By analyzing, he could better understand the distinctions between each realm. He figured few people ever did this, but he thought it was very necessary. Only by fully mastering the mysteries of one realm can you enter the next without flaws.

After a round of analysis, Lin Moyu more or less understood the differences between each level. He also spent quite a bit of time at this stage; under the Gather Power state, his soul power was almost depleted.

Lin Moyu didn't hesitate he let his soul shatter, then used the purple light to complete his rebirth. After being reborn, his soul power was full and restored as before. Rebirth doesn't have to be used only on the battlefield; it can be used anytime. Lin Moyu always did this.

Once he understood what Eternity was, another level awaited. He muttered to himself, "After Eternity, there's another road, called the Final Step. Each Eternal's last step is a little different. Not completely different there may be overlap, or even conflict. Except for Emperors, cultivators who achieve Eternity all walk the path step by step, full of dangers. Who would be content to stay stuck at the last step? So nine out of ten will try to break through. But as I see it, this last step is like a task set by heaven and earth. Complete it, and you advance; fail, and you fall back into slumber. Anyway, an Eternal can't die they just sleep for hundreds of millions of years, which isn't much to heaven and earth."

While pondering, Lin Moyu used Gather Power again, his aura rising to the Dao Lord peak. This time he didn't stop, but charged straight at the bottleneck. Vast power surged like a tidal wave, smashing through the bottleneck and shattering the barrier.

With the sound of shattering, Lin Moyu felt himself enter another level, and the world before his eyes changed dramatically. The previously dazzling world vanished, replaced by countless Great Daos flowing like streams. The Daos became incomparably clear, no longer chaotic he could clearly see them, even control them, change their flow, or manipulate the angle, position, and strength of their collisions, and so on. Any change he could think of, he seemed able to do.

Almost by instinct, Lin Moyu reached out, his hand transforming in the void into a terrifying giant hand. The Great Dao filled billions of miles, like the hand of heaven itself, or the fire of creation, able to change the heavenly Dao.

But as soon as this hand appeared, the Daos went into chaos. Lin Moyu tried to control it, but found his soul power draining at an astonishing rate in less than two seconds, it was gone, and his soul shattered.

Purple light flashed, and his soul was reborn. But the newly reborn soul shattered again the backlash from controlling the Daos wasn't over. Reborn again, shattered again this cycle repeated three times before the backlash was finally cleared.

After recovering, Lin Moyu fell into deep thought, reflecting on that realm. He realized that at his current level, he could only forcibly enter that realm for less than two seconds. He was too weak to withstand the Dao backlash; his soul power would be instantly exhausted, and he'd die. Even rebirth took three cycles to erase the Dao backlash.

Two seconds seems short, but with repeated attempts, two seconds can become infinite he could keep observing until he saw what he wanted. As for his soul shattering, he didn't care he was long used to dying early. Whether he died a hundred times or ten thousand times, what difference did it make? The only thing to watch for was the cooldown on rebirth: within twenty seconds, it can be triggered ten times at most. If he kept using Gather Power to peer into that realm, he might exceed the rebirth limit, and he needed to save a few rebirths for emergencies.

To be safe, Lin Moyu planned to use Gather Power twice in a row, taking less than ten seconds and using rebirth six times. Then he'd wait ten seconds before the next round. This way, each round would leave four rebirths for emergencies four in ten seconds was enough.

After calculating, Lin Moyu began to execute his plan. His origin aura fluctuated constantly, and he repeatedly used Gather Power to break into that realm, treating life and death as nothing. At the same time, he didn't forget to take out origin treasures, observing the Daos he wanted, hunting Great Dao Beasts, and sending undead servants to search for Real Virtual Spirit Domains. He wanted innate origin treasures too.

Even Lin Moyu felt he was a bit greedy, but there's nothing wrong with being greedy if people weren't greedy, why cultivate at all?

Little Python didn't know what his master was doing, only that origin aura kept pouring out, and sometimes an incredibly terrifying aura would leak out. This aura made him tremble with fear, yet for some reason, it also felt strangely familiar. He didn't ask he knew even if he did, he might not get an answer. Lin Moyu was easygoing, but if something wasn't meant for him to know, Lin Moyu would never say.

Decades passed. Lin Moyu repeatedly charged into that unknown realm, always just half a step away from truly breaking through. In that half step state, he constantly observed the Daos. Each time was only two seconds, but over time, his understanding grew deeper and deeper.

Gradually, he understood how Great Dao Origin Qi was produced and what conditions were needed. He also tried to manipulate those Dao forces, but each time failed due to poor control. This was a side effect of Gather Power his control over power dropped sharply, making fine manipulation impossible.

Still, any progress was good. Lin Moyu didn't expect too much.

Over these decades, Great Dao Beasts came by as usual, and his stockpile of beast essence grew ever higher. Unfortunately, he never encountered another Real Virtual Spirit Domain, nor did another Great Dao Beast King appear.
