Kaido is incredibly strong, able to fight at nearly full power even underwater.

However, when faced with massive Sea Kings, each thousands of meters long, even Kaido felt uncertain.

On land, Kaido could unleash his full strength and believed he could handle these enormous Sea Kings. But in the deep sea, things were different.

His signature abilities, like his flame-based attacks and the Fire Dragon Torch, were severely limited. Even when attacking with his Hassaikai or unleashing tornado-like blasts, it was difficult to land a critical blow on such colossal creatures.

"Is this the power of the Ancient Weapon, Poseidon?" Kaido muttered. His dragon eyes gleamed with a mix of seriousness and greed as he pondered.

"Such power... it's thrilling! If I can control Poseidon, not only will I become the Pirate King, but I could even achieve what Captain Rocks couldn't—ruling the entire world!"

Kaido's body tensed, ready for battle. While it might be impossible to deal fatal damage to these Sea Kings in the deep sea, Kaido's incredible strength, speed, and endurance made him confident. If direct combat wasn't enough, he could use hit-and-run tactics.

But there was another concern—Fish-Man Island. Even the slightest movements from these massive Sea Kings could send waves of destruction across the island. If their tails struck, countless lives would be at risk. Fish-Man Island, with its five million citizens, could lose a million people in an instant.

Kaido devised a quick battle strategy. He planned to break into Fish-Man Island, knowing that once inside, the Sea Kings couldn't follow him. Despite his reputation as a reckless brute, Kaido was actually shrewd and calculated when it mattered.

The sudden appearance of the super-giant Sea Kings reignited hope among the remaining fighters of Fish-Man Island. Even as Kaido's Conqueror's Haki had knocked out many, the presence of these Sea Kings gave the survivors renewed morale.

Jinbe and the other awake Fish-Man Pirates looked on in awe. King Neptune himself glanced at Tidal Sea Spirit Fitz, a fish-man standing at the center of it all, and began to question the old legends.

"Perhaps the prophecy was wrong," Neptune thought. "Poseidon might not just be a mermaid princess. Maybe... it's the combined power of a mermaid princess and a fish-man. Together, they might be the true Poseidon."

To Neptune and the others, there was no doubt that Fitz, who had summoned countless Sea Kings before, must be Poseidon. Shirahoshi was still a child, but Fitz's actions had already proven his worth.

Then, in a moment of unexpected calm, the super-giant Sea Kings, each over 5,000 meters long, started to retreat. Without further orders from Shirahoshi, they slowly moved away from Fish-Man Island. Their immense size made their presence too dangerous for the island.

As the Sea Kings disappeared into the vast ocean, Kaido, Jinbe, and the others, who had braced themselves for a massive battle, were left standing in silence. Then, Kaido broke into wild laughter.

"Poseidon?" he roared with disdain. "That's it?"

Kaido had already decided—Fish-Man Island belonged to him.

"Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah!" Kaido laughed, his booming voice echoing across the battlefield. "Is this the power of the Sea Kings you depend on? What a joke!"

As Kaido's laughter filled the air, the overwhelming desire he once felt for the Ancient Weapons began to settle.

"In this world, only the power you control with your own hands can truly rule the seas!" he declared.

With that, Kaido unleashed another wave of his monstrous Conqueror's Haki, scattering those who dared to stand before him. After witnessing Poseidon's power firsthand, his resolve and spirit grew even stronger.

Kaido knew that to secure Fish-Man Island and establish his reign as a true king, he had to rise beyond all limits. He envisioned surpassing Whitebeard—the man currently hailed as the strongest in the world—and perhaps even reaching the heights of Rocks, the legendary former overlord of the seas.

Haki is tied to spirit. Weak will weakens it, while strong resolve makes it grow. And Kaido's resolve was unshakable.

His aura became even more fearsome, forcing Jinbe, Neptune, and the others to feel the weight of his power. Yet none of them retreated. They stood firm, their eyes filled with determination.

For them, the outcome was simple—win or die. There was no room for retreat.

But amid the chaos, a question flickered in their minds: Where is Nami, the current queen of Fish-Man Island?

Tidal Sea Spirit Fitz finally shook off the daze caused by the Sea Kings' departure. Facing Kaido, he raised his small trident defiantly.

"What's the big deal about a giant fish thousands of meters long? When my power grows, I'll summon even bigger ones!" Fitz shouted, unfazed by Kaido's Conqueror's Haki.

The thought of fearing the Four Emperors Kaido didn't even cross his mind. Fear? What was that? Could it be eaten?

As a yordle of the sea, Fitz had never known fear. He waved his trident boldly, convinced that the dragon-like creature before him couldn't threaten his home.

Because the Queen of the Deep Sea had arrived.

A warm, soothing light began to spread across the battlefield, enveloping everything. The soldiers of Poseidon's army, knocked out by Kaido's Haki, and even the Sea Kings themselves started to stir under its gentle glow.

Within this radiant light, seawater gathered and took shape, forming a figure—Nami, the queen of Fish-Man Island and the deep sea herself.

Nami, having just managed the island's pressing political matters and finalized plans for its rebuilding, finally appeared before Kaido. Her regal yet exasperated expression told a story of its own.

The titles of "King of Fish-Man Island" and "Queen of the Deep Sea" sounded grand enough, but no one had warned her how exhausting it was to lead an entire nation.

"Why didn't anyone tell me being a good ruler would be this hard?" Nami thought bitterly.

It was easy to imagine being a lazy ruler who did nothing. But leading her people to a brighter future? That was exhausting beyond belief.

As for Fitz, who summoned Sea Kings and caused chaos with his antics, he was no help at all when it came to dealing with government affairs.

And Kaido? This so-called Four Emperors Kaido, who terrified even the bravest warriors of Fish-Man Island, seemed far less of a headache than her endless paperwork and responsibilities.

In the deep sea, where Nami wielded the power of the river spirit, she felt no fear—not even in the presence of Kaido.
