There's someone in the room!
Andy was a little surprised, but on second thought, it seemed to be expected.
Andy came here today to find the Unspeakable.
But if there is someone among the Unspeakables who is proficient in divination, or if the Department of Mysteries has alchemical items similar to the prophecy ball, there will be some kind of response.
Because of this, they might have chosen to actively appear and meet with Andy rather than let Andy cause an uncontrollable scene in the Department of Mysteries.
This is better for both sides.
Click!
Andy closed the door behind him and then narrowed his eyes as he had a closer look at the man in the room.
He looked to be about the same age as Dumbledore, a short old man with white hair and a wrinkled face. He was wearing a slightly dirty wizard's robe, the original colour of which could no longer be seen, as if it had not been washed for a long time.
Well... dirty, full of wizard-like sloppiness.
Andy didn't dare to be careless, focusing all his energy on the old man and taking his wand in his hand without making a sound.
The Department of Mysteries had many secrets.
Andy had always been under the impression that the Unspeakables are on the same level as the sweeping monk in the sign-in novels, studying many things and knowing many hidden things.
Planets, death, time, brain, prophecy, love... Just by looking at the Department of Mysteries' twelve rooms, you can get a preliminary understanding of the Unspeakables.
No one knows how many powerful wizards are actually lurking in the Department of Mysteries.
So Andy didn't dare underestimate the old man in front of him.
"Good evening!"
Andy said, greeting him politely. "I'm Andy Collins; I think you know me."
"Oh, of course!"
The old man nodded slightly, his voice sounding a little breathless, "Andy Collins…that name is famous these days. I've heard it many times."
"That's a great honour." Andy said.
"What a curious little fellow."
The old man continued, "Collins, would you be interested in joining the Department of Mysteries? You'd fit right in here."
"Sorry…"
Andy shrugged, "My dream is to become the Headmaster of Hogwarts."
"And…"
"I can't keep my mouth shut; I like to tell secrets. Being an Unspeakable… that would be worse than killing me."
The old man nodded. "Yes, being Unspeakable means you have to maintain secrecy. So… you should know very well that you won't be able to get any secrets out of me."
"Not even truth potion and mind-control spells will work."
Andy didn't care about this, and after thinking for a moment, he said, "I can always follow you, wherever you go. Just let me observe where you work and where you rest."
"If that's still no good, let's duel."
"In a duel with life on the line, most secrets will be revealed."
The old man: "..."
"I haven't fought anyone for over forty years," the old man sighed.
Andy was taken aback.
From the tone of his words, this old man is indeed a character of the level of a Sweeping Monk.
And he is confident that he can defeat me!
Taking a deep breath, Andy suddenly felt a little excited.
Andy had not fought at full strength since he had condensed his Soul, and he was not quite sure of his current strength.
Well...
Or rather, Andy had not fought at full strength since he had finished the Obscurus method.
As for the final battle against Voldemort... Well, that was a two-on-one fight, so it's not worth talking about. Voldemort put up a little resistance for a while, but then Andy and Dumbledore teamed up and turned him to dust.
Andy just knew that his magical attack power surpassed that of Voldemort and Dumbledore.
Therefore, that battle was more of a skirmish, with them relying on their superior mastery of spells.
Only a fool would go head-to-head with Andy.
In game terms, Andy is a high-level character with great attributes. But this gap can be compensated for with PK skills.
Of course, Andy's advantage is very obvious when facing an ordinary wizard – it's the absolute crushing power of the top player in the pay-to-win category facing a zero-pay player!
The prerequisite is that no killing spells are allowed.
Therefore, Andy really wants to have a serious battle.
Especially a battle where the two sides are evenly matched!
Thinking about this, Andy said bluntly, "Grandpa, why don't... we have a go?"
After saying this, Andy didn't wait for a reply and, in an instant, pointed his wand at the other party.
Facing someone at the level of a Sweeping Monk, Andy dared not underestimate him in the slightest and went all out with his first move.
A red beam of magic flashed.
Bang!
The old man didn't react at all and was sent flying backwards by the beam of magic, crashing hard into the wall behind him.
After being stuck to the wall for a while, he fell to the ground with a loud thud.
Crack!
It sounded like a bone had snapped.
Andy: "..."
Grandpa, please don't die!
At the same time, Andy breathed a sigh of relief—thankfully, he had only used the Disarming Charm to test things out. If he had used the Exploding Charm or the Smashing Spell, the old man would have died for sure.
And the old man was also…
You're not strong, so why did you put on such big airs?
You even said, 'I haven't fought anyone for more than 40 years.'
Well...that's not wrong.
With this strength, there's no point in fighting!
Andy was a little overwhelmed for a moment.
"Ouch..."
The old man covered his waist and let out a few groans.
It looked like he was in a lot of pain.
Andy: "..."
Andy quickly ran over, tapped his wand a few times, and in an instant, healed the old man's injuries.
"You little brat..."
The old man glared at Andy angrily, as if he wanted to curse him out, but after a moment's thought, he swallowed the words back down.
"Sorry, sorry!"
Andy helped the old man up, saying quickly, "Well... I thought you must be super strong."
"You were the one who said it yourself, that you hadn't fought anyone for more than forty years, and you looked about the same age as Professor Dumbledore, so I thought you meant you hadn't met any worthy opponents."
Old man: "..."
"If I had met no worthy opponents, would Dumbledore still be the greatest wizard of the twentieth century?"
The old man said impatiently, "Besides, if Voldemort hadn't wreaked havoc on the wizarding world, how many wizards would ever fight anyone?"
Andy: "..."
There's nothing wrong with what you said.
"But... aren't you an Unspeakable?"
Andy was still a little puzzled and frowned, asking, "You've been studying magic here for decades, so logically, your mastery of magic... should be very high, right?"
You shouldn't be this bad!
How can you be so weak!
The old man took a deep breath and said, "Kid, do you have some kind of misunderstanding about Unspeakables?"
"Huh?" Andy was taken aback.
"Your Head; he has studied charms his whole life. Do you think he is strong?" the old man asked.
This...
Professor Flitwick's level of magic...can only be deemed as the limit of an 'ordinary' wizard.
The old man sighed, "I study the movement of the planets and stars!"
